The Dragonball-Z Summery is right here!

up here is Part 2 in the Video so you wont get mixed up with Dragonball and Dragonball-Z ok ,enjoy! Somewhere, a farmer panics when he sees something that could be a meteor or a UFO. He wants to check it out. It's not a meteor. Someone leaps out of the UFO, commenting on the fact that Kakarot must live on this planet. The farmer asks the alien what he is, and the alien dismisses the farmer (who has a power rating of 5,) as garbage. The farmer panics and shoots. The farmer dies. Then, the alien senses a great power 4880 units away (specific distance measure isn't given,) and thinks that it may be Kakarot. Then, Piccolo senses a great power approaching, and thinks it's Gokuu. Both of them are angry at being wrong. Piccolo wants to know who's disturbed his peace, and the alien dismisses the demon king at having only a sentou-ryoku of 322. Piccolo gets angrier, but is concerned by the alien's greater power. Piccolo's attack has no effect, and the alien asks if he gets to go next. But, the alien stops, having noticed another power blip, and he leaves to travel the 12909 units to get to what he thinks is Kakarot. Piccolo can't stand having been so humiliated, and the alien goes to find the great Saiya-jin fighter, Kakarot (who looks like the baby Gokuu.) At Kame House, Buruma drops in, not having seen people for 5 years. She gives Kamesennin a long-time-no-see present, which the old man hopes will include getting a glimpse of her breasts. When she hits him, he claims it was just a joke. Kuririn asks where Yamcha is, and it seems that Buruma and Yamcha had another fight again. She asks where Ranchi is, and Kuririn answers that Kushami/Ranchi had left 5 years ago to move in with Tenshinhan. Gokuu appears, saying that they're nearing Kame House. The alien notices that the power that had been moving so fast, had stopped. Kuririn recognizes Gokuu's voice. The alien is getting closer. People rush out to greet Gokuu, but are stunned at learning that the little boy is Gokuu's son. The kid is introduced as Son Gohan (named after Gokuu's dead grandfather,) age 4. And he has a tail, meaning that if he sees the full moon... But Gokuu doesn't know what the others are acting so edgy for. Kuririn asks if the kid is as strong as his father, but Gokuu is annoyed that Chi Chi would rather that they study, instead of fighting. Kuririn can't believe this, and Gokuu grouses about the long peace. Then, Buruma notices the Dragon Ball sewn on Gohan's hat -- Gokuu's found Balls 1 through 6, and Gohan wears the Ball that matches his age. But, Gokuu suddenly notices a strong power approaching. The alien lands, and talks about common fathers, travelling to this planet, and some guy named Kakarot. No one else understands this, and Kuririn tells him to just continue on his way. Gokuu shouts out a warning, but the little guy gets too close. Then, they see that the alien has a tail. The next page has Gohan introducing himself. Gokuu wonders whether the guy's tail means what he thinks it does, and the alien asks if Kakarot has been bumped hard on the head lately. Gokuu says his name's not Kakarot, it's Son Gokuu. The alien continues on about bumps, and Kamesennin comments that the older, dead Son Gohan had found Gokuu, and taken him in as a baby. They still don't understand, until the alien tells them that Gokuu was born on the planet Vejiita, (I think that's right,) and that Gokuu is really a member of the fighter race known as Saiya-jin. And, the alien is Gokuu's older brother, Radits. None of them can believe this, and Gokuu rejects it outright. Radits tries to give further proof of this (i.e. -- greater strength, a certain change-over on the full moon...) Gokuu doesn't know anything about were-monkeys, and that's when Radits notices that Kakarot doesn't have a tail. Radits curses the humans that did this atrocity to his little brother, but Gokuu replies that it was a good thing, and that he isn't anyone's little brother. He is Son Gokuu, he grew up on this planet, and Radits can just leave. The others agree. Radits laughs -- the Saiya-jin are fighters (as are his and Gokuu's parents,) and they live to terrorize others. It's in their blood. Gokuu denies that he's a Saiya-jin, but, Gohan's tail is proof that they have common blood. Radits decides to kidnap Gohan, and drops Gokuu when dad gets in the way. Radits wants to either fight Gokuu, or return with him to their planet. Either way, he's got one day to decide. Kuririn and Kamesennin are stunned that Gokuu was dropped with one blow. After the time is up, Radits wants to see the corpses of 100 people, or he'll kill Gohan. They argue about this for a while, and then Radits tells them that he has two friends, and he's decided that their next target for death and mass destruction is this planet. But, if Gokuu brings the 100 corpses... Gokuu asks for Gohan back. Radits likes Gokuu's show of spirit, and flies off. While the others are trying to be helpful, Gokuu calls for Kintoen. But, there's nothing Gokuu can do. Kuririn and Kamesama offer to help, and to get Yamcha and Tenshinhan. Kuririn asks Buruma to use the Dragon Balls to bring him back to life if he dies. However, Gokuu tells them that Shenlon can't grant the same wish twice, so Kuririn can't die any more. But, if they got the remaining Dragon Ball, they could wish the problem away -- but they can't get it within one day. But, with the aid of the Dragon Radar, they can track Radits. [Note: Although Gokuu has supposedly collected 6 of the Balls, the Radar proves otherwise.] Gokuu is about to leave, when a voice tells him to wait. Buruma crawls away in horror, and Gokuu demands to know why the demon king is here. He'd already met Radits. This is Piccolo's planet to terrorize, and he doesn't want anyone else spoiling it. And, since Piccolo can't handle Raditz on his own, he needs Gokuu's help. They agree to a truce, Gokuu gets the Radar from Buruma, and Gokuu asks if Piccolo can keep up with Kintoen. Kamesennin can't believe that those two can handle this alone, so he tells Buruma to get another Radar. The two veer a little more to the right. Gohan won't stop crying, which annoys Radits to the point where he puts the "shit brat" inside the space capsule. Then, the power sensor alerts him to a 710 power level, which seems to come from the brat. He thinks that the sensor is malfunctioning. Gokuu wants to land and sneak in, but Piccolo tells him that won't work. Radits still gets the 710 reading, then notices a 322 and a 334 approaching (Piccolo is the 322.) He just can't understand how anyone could find him that quickly. Then, he realizes that Gohan really is up to a power level of 710. Radits greets Piccolo and Gokuu, asking how they found him. Gokuu won't say. He just wants to know where Gohan is -- safe in the capsule. They go on about being, and not being, brothers again. Piccolo gets tired of the talking, and takes off his outer clothes. Gokuu notices that the demon king is also wearing heavy clothes for power training. It has been a long time since he'd taken them off. With both of them made lighter, Piccolo's level jumps to 408, and Gokuu's is 416. Radits comments on this, but Gokuu doesn't understand. This is a good place to fight, and Radits tells them to use any technique they wish. But he'll still kill them. They can't believe how fast and powerful the Saiya-jin is. They ponder this for a moment, and then Radits says that the two Saiya-jin that will be coming after him, are even stronger. Gokuu again asks where Gohan is, and Radits tells him. Gokuu then yells out to Gohan that he's come to save him. Radits replies that they've just come here to die. Then they fight some more. Piccolo loses his arm, and Gokuu is still looking up when Radits appears behind him "I'm here." Eventually, they break. Gokuu asks if Piccolo is ok, and the demon (holding his left stump,) says he's fine. Radits blusters, and Piccolo whispers that he's learned a new attack that will take time to prepare. So, he wants Gokuu to keep Radits busy for a while. Gokuu asks if the demon can do the technique -- don't worry. But, they also don't have a choice. Radits wonders what the whispering is about, then Gokuu says they're ready again. Gokuu attacks, while Piccolo announces Makankousappou. Gokuu starts Kamehame-ha, and his power level jumps to 924. Radits is surprised, then notices that Piccolo's is up to 1020. Gokuu completes the blast, but doesn't expect it when Radits stop it with his hands. The hero can't believe this, and Radits sends up "a present." Radits yells out "die", but Piccolo states that the alien will be the one to die. The alien is awed that Piccolo's power is up to 1330. The demon king completes the spell before Radits can fire back. So, the Saiya-jin moves to the side, instead. They bluster a bit, and then Radits gets ready to finally kill Piccolo. But, his power suddenly dissipates. Gokuu announces why. Radits drops, and Gokuu tells Piccolo to fire again. Radits asks if Kakarot would really kill his older brother, then declares that he's had a change of heart and wants to go straight. Piccolo tells Gokuu to not listen, but Radits says he's telling the truth and Gokuu lets go of the tail. Piccolo yells out "Son Gokuu" and Gokuu gets dropped. Radits then says that no real warrior would fall for a trick like that. He himself has no qualms about killing his little brother. Radits breaks a few ribs. The Saiya-jin is having fun, announcing that Piccolo will be next. Piccolo can't act in time. Then, the power sensor goes off, and Gohan breaks free of the space capsule. Gokuu tells Gohan to escape, Radits notices that the boy is up to 1307, and Gohan yells out "You're hurting my father!!!!" Radits gets knocked back, and Gohan calls out to his father. Gokuu tells the boy to run away. Gohan is now down to 1, and is batted away. Gokuu tells his brother to stop, but Radits is aware that the boy could be a really bad threat, and is going to kill him. Gokuu recovers a bit, and tells Piccolo to use that technique again. Piccolo says it'll take time, and asks why Gokuu doesn't just grab the tail again. But, the tail can be cut off... Gokuu wants Piccolo to hurry, and Radits is complaining about having been weakened by Gohan's blow. Radits tells Gokuu to let go, but the two of them are going to die together. Piccolo says that he'll enjoy killing them both, but thinks that he will get the Dragon Balls to just wish Gokuu back to life. Radits is still pleading when Piccolo fires. Radits swears. But Gokuu is going to die, too. No he's not -- Piccolo tells him about the Dragon Balls. Radits radios this info back to his friends. Gokuu asks when the new attackers will arrive, and Raditz answers "in 1 year." His power is almost gone, but he's gloating about the upcoming death and destruction, calling all of the potential victims insects, so Piccolo finishes him off. Kamesennin and group show up, and see the heroes on the ground. On a distant planet, Napa states that Radits is dead. They get ready to visit this new planet, where Vejita wants to find these things called Dragon Balls. "To bring Radits back?" "Don't be stupid." He plans on having more fun than that. They head for the new planet, talking about becoming the fabled Super Saiya-jin of legend. Gohan is ok, but Gokuu is about to die. Then, Kami-sama summons Gokuu's body for his own reasons. Nappa and Vejita look forward to the fun they'll have one year from now.
Episodes 6-21 Kamesennin, Buruma, and Kuririn are wondering why Kami-sama has taken Gokuu's body. Kuririn wants to get the other Balls and wish Gokuu back to life. Then Piccolo mentions the power scanner, and Buruma comments on its complexity. She'll take the scanner, while Kuririn is to find Yamcha and Tenshinhan. The group with re-form at Kame House, and after, Kuririn will start looking for the other Balls. As for Piccolo... (his growing another arm is like a lizard growing another tail.) Piccolo asks to take Gohan. Kuririn asks "to eat!?" No, instead, because Gohan is so strong, he wants to train the brat for one year, to get the brat ready for the 2 Saiya-jin. The others object, but can't really stop the demon king, as they worry about how Gokuu and Chi Chi will react. In heaven (the box lists it as "That World") the flickering souls of the newly dead are told to get in one of two lines. Kami-sama is sponsoring Gokuu, as Enmadaiou is trying to decide what to do with him. Since, all of the dead come her, Gokuu wants to know what's happened to his grandfather (went to heaven.) How about Radits (when to hell.) Kami-sama yells at Gokuu to keep his voice down, stop asking so many questions, and to pay the big guy more respect. The big guy comments on where Kami-sama will go when he dies, which humbles the god a bit. The gate keeper tells Gokuu to meet a minion, who'll drive him out to the Snake Road. At the end of the road Kaiou-sama will train Gokuu some more. Gokuu thanks them and leaves, and Kami-sama broods about the future, about the Saiya-jin, and about Kaiou-sama. Enmadaiou tells the god to shut up and get out of the way. The minion tells Gokuu that Kaiou-sama is a kind of god, and lives at the end of the Snake Road. Gokuu has to travel the 1 million kilometers to get to the end of the road. If he falls through the clouds, he'll land in hell. Gokuu wishes that he had a bentou lunch to bring with him, and is told that the dead don't need food. Gokuu asks the minion to pass on a message to Uranai Baba (the minion knows her,) to have Kamesennin resurrect Gokuu only after at the end of one year. The minion records this. Then, Gokuu uses Bukuujitsu to fly down the road. Kamesennin realizes that he's going to have to tell Chi Chi what happened, and wants Kuririn to handle this instead. Gokuu is now running on the road, commenting that Bukuujitsu didn't work. Meanwhile, Piccolo wants Gohan to wake up. He tells the sputtering kid that he'd been dropped in the water, because they need to talk. Gohan yells for his father for help. Eventually, Piccolo says that Gokuu is dead. Then, he'll really do nasty things if the boy starts crying again. However, these cool things called Dragon Balls can be used to bring Gokuu back to life. However, these nasty people called Saiya-jin will be arriving in one year. So, to help dad, Gohan is going to learn to fight. Which Gohan doesn't want to do. Piccolo says that Gohan has power, but the boy doesn't believe this. To prove it, Piccolo grabs Gohan roughly by the head, and hurls the screaming boy at a big rock outcropping. Piccolo hopes that this is going to work. But didn't realize how well it would work... Now, it's just a matter of training. Gohan is scared, but they don't have time for that. The boy is told to take his outer clothes off. He asks about his father, and Piccolo makes fun of the dead man (which causes Gokuu to sneeze, without knowing why.) The first part of the training is sheer survival. Piccolo is going to abandon the boy for 6 months. Gohan is frightened, and asks where the shower is, where the bed is. Piccolo sneers, and leaves. Gohan yells for the demon king to stay. Mr. Popo remarks on Kami-sama's behavior. The god, and then Mr. Popo, are worried about what's going to happen when Piccolo finally has to face the 2 Saiya-jin one year from now. They can use the Dragon Balls, one year from now. Back on earth, Gohan keeps crying and saying that he's scared. He yells for someone to save him when the dinosaur attacks. Then complains about having to get down from the rock pillar he's now on. At night, he's afraid of dying, but the sight of the green apples before him perks him up a bit. But they taste bad. Piccolo is disgusted with the "shit brat's" loser attitude. Meanwhile, Gokuu is getting tired on the road. Gohan gets up in the middle of the night to take a piss, and complains about how hard it is to get down from the top of the pillar. But, the night is strange to him, and there's this odd big white ball in the sky... He looks at the full moon. Piccolo doesn't understand how Gohan became this huge, raging were-monkey. The power scares him, then he remembered what Radits said about what happens to Saiya-jin who look at the full moon. So, he blows the moon up. Gohan is now proven to be a Saiya-jin, and Piccolo thinks about this. And, since the tail is part of what causes the change-over, Piccolo pulls it off. Piccolo also wants to get the boy something to work with, so he creates a sword, and an uniform like Gokuu's, but with a slight change to the kanji on it (it now reads "Ma".) After 6 months, the real training, the teaching of attack techniques and magic, will begin. Gyoumaou is trying to calm down his daughter, who plans on berating her husband for being gone so long with their son (who should be at home, studying.) At Kame House, Buruma has gotten the power sensor to work. She uses a machine gun to wake people up and complain about how she's working, and they're asleep. Then, she tells the old turtle man to stand up. Kamesennin stutters on this, as she states that he has a power level of 139. He's impressed, so Kuririn asks to be read next. 206, which is better than the old man. Buruma comments on the designs of the Saiya-jin, and then states that at about 3000 km, someone has a rating of 250. Kuririn figures that it has to be Tenshinhan [why doesn't Chao-zu register?] In a different direction, there's a 177, which Kamesennin claims is probably Yamcha. Somewhere else, there's an impressive 329. Probably Piccolo, but Gohan is supposed to be with him. Kuririn wants to go rescue Gohan, but Kamesennin says to leave them alone. But it is time to get the other Dragon Balls. At the door, Yajirobee calls out to get attention to himself. Kuririn recognizes the guy from Karin Tower -- Arumajiro (the monk corrects him.) He's there to tell the group that something is happening at Karin Tower, and everyone, including Tenshinhan, Yamcha, and Chao-zu are to meet Kami-sama there. They're to get ready to fight the two Saiya-jin. Also, the Dragon Balls should not be used to bring Gokuu back right away. According to Uranai Baba, Gokuu is training in heaven, and doesn't want to be resurrected until the end of one year. Kuririn comments about getting special training in heave, and then they see an approaching craft. Gyoumaou yells out a greeting to Kamesennin, who realizes that Chi Chi is coming. The big guy humbly greets his master, and Chi Chi wants to know where Gohan and her worthless husband are -- well... "Piccolo has Gohan, and Gokuu is dead." Chi Chi faints. 6 months go by. The group trains under Kami-sama and Gokuu is still running on the snake bridge. And what of Gohan? He's still alive. He greets the dinosaur as it attacks him again. And then uses part of the tail for supper. Now, it's time for Piccolo to get down to serious training. When Piccolo disappears, he says "behind you," and kicks the boy down. Gohan says that Piccolo is fast, then gets a warning about breaking in the middle of a fight to brush off your clothes. Piccolo is serious about his job of training Gohan to fight for the next 6 months, and the boy expects to die first. Which means that Gohan will just have to get stronger. Finally, Gokuu reaches the end of the road, after running for nearly a year. But, there's nothing else there. Except for a little sphere some distance up and away. Gokuu assumes that that's where Kaiou-sama lives, and leaps up. The sight of a house reassures him, but the sudden increase in gravity takes him by surprise. There's a monkey outside waiting for him, so Gokuu asks if this is Kaiou-sama, and introduces himself. The monkey starts prancing around, and Gokuu assumes that the training has already started under this heavy gravity. He repeats the grunting made by the monkey, until someone else comes out and asks what Gokuu thinks he's doing. Gokuu asks who the guy is, and he chuckles, saying "I'm... ummm... Kai... yo... Kai -- o, Kaiou... Kaiou!" Gokuu then asks who the monkey is, and is told that's Kaiou's pet, Bubbles. Kaiou tries to make a pun that goes over Gokuu's head, so Kaiou asks why the guy came here. Gokuu replies that he wants to learn Kaiou's special techniques, and Kaiou tells him to return to where he came. Then, Gokuu starts laughing at the pun. This exchange continues for a while (Kaiou considers himself something of a comic.) Finally, Kaiou wants to see Gokuu attack, but the guy complains that his body is too heavy, and can't move. Kaiou says that the little planet's gravity is 10 times stronger than where Gokuu came from, and Gokuu's jump is a test to see what height he can reach. Kaiou asks why Gokuu needs the special training, and he states that his world is going to be invaded by two Saiya-jin. Kaiou then locates the two invaders, and knows that they're 158 days out. Kaiou agrees to do the training, since his is the strongest techniques of all. The training is to now start -- Gokuu has to catch Bubbles. The weighted clothes are too heavy, but even without them, Bubbles is too fast. But, part of the problem is that Gokuu hasn't eaten in a while, so he asks for some food. However, after the meal, Kaiou wants to go for a drive. Now, Gokuu has to walk back. Kaiou asks Gokuu if the guy knows just how strong Saiya-jin really are, and Gokuu replies that he's a Saiya-jin too. Gohan asks Piccolo if the demon king really fought Gokuu, and the king says that the fight isn't over. Gohan states that Piccolo isn't that bad a guy, and that his parents aren't afraid of him -- which just makes Piccolo angry. "Shut up and go to sleep!!!" 40 days later, Gokuu is happy at being able to catch Bubbles. Kaiou is happy that Gokuu is such a strong student, and the next step is to teach him the Kaiou techniques within the next 118 days. It requires a pure heart, strong body, etc. But, they'll do it after tea. Above Karin Tower, Kami-sama is telling the group that there's nothing more that he and Mr. Popo can teach them -- have have to go out and train on their own now. Piccolo is satisfied that Gohan is showing more control. And Uranai Baba tells Kamesennin that this one time, she can't predict the future. The insert boxes state that the time is coming nearer. Gokuu tells Kaiou to go ahead, and the World King throws his rock with "ultimate speed." Gokuu destroys it, and is told that he needs to use these techniques properly to be able to control the "genki tama" (healthy ball.) He explains the genki tama idea, and the use of lots of energy. Which means that you only get time to make one shot. Gokuu says that he understands, and will use Kaiou-ken wisely. So, the king says that the day of truth will come soon, and then... He'd forgotten that Gokuu needs time to travel along the Snake Road to get back to earth. He can't get back any other way, and it'll take two full days for the trip, which is one day too long. Kaiou tells Gokuu to use him to tell people to resurrect Gokuu now. Gokuu doesn't understand, but he immediately makes contact with Kamesennin, who's on the toilet. Gokuu tells the old man what's happening, and that the Saiya-jin will arrive tomorrow. Kamesennin understands, and the others ask if he's ok, talking to himself in the toilet. He shouts out for them to get the Balls. Gokuu is impressed with the king's ability, and he also gets a new uniform. Gokuu thanks him, and comments on being able to keep the "kame" logo (Kaiou chuckles, since the "Kaiou" kanji is written on the back of the uniform.) Shenlon appears, and Oolong stammers out a wish to get rid of the two Saiya-jin. Buruma yells at him to wish for Gokuu back, and the pig replies that they can wish for Gokuu next time. Shenlon states that he can't do Oolong's request, since it has to be in keeping with Kami-sama's designs (giving life, etc.) So, Kamesennin wishes for Gokuu to be alive again. At the same time, Piccolo realizes that the darkened sky means that the Saiya-jin are about to arrive. The halo disappears, and Gokuu is now alive again. They exchange good wishes, and Gokuu thanks the king for everything -- if he dies again, they'll meet again. The hero rushes off, happy that he has body again. But, he does have to hurry. The two Saiya-jin arrive at 11:43 AM. The crowd talks about the two balls that fell, and that there's a person in one ball. Piccolo, Gohan, and Tenshin comment on the sudden surge of power, and the need to hurry. The crowd continues to mutter, and the two Saiya-jin state that the muttering is annoying. Vejita tells Nappa to settle down. The big guy remembers that they're after the whatever Balls ("Dragon Balls") for the wish. They use the scanners to find Radits' killer. But, Nappa picks up two people at level 1000, and they wonder about this planet. Then, Vejita finds Kakarot, and they fly to meet him. Yamcha notices that the two have started moving. Kuririn wonders if they're going to Ten's location, or Piccolo's. Piccolo says that the two are coming towards them. Ten wants Chao-zu to stay behind, but the midget wants to come along. On TV, the newscaster announces the loss of an eastern sector. Buruma wants to go help, but Oolong doesn't want to die, and Kamesennin knows that he can't do anything useful. So, Pool hopes that Yamcha won't die and Buruma prays that Gokuu will arrive in time. Gokuu hopes the same thing. 20 minutes after noon. Bats start gathering. Piccolo tells Gohan that after 1 year, they need to be strong. They notice more power, but it turns out to be Kuririn (Gohan thinks he's a Saiya-jin.) They greet each other, and Kuririn has to explain why he's come. Gohan finally recognize the nose-less one as having been at Kamesennin's place. Gohan says that Kuririn is small, but strong, and Kuririn broods over this slight. Kuririn asks about Piccolo, and the kid says the demon king is a good guy. Then, the Saiya-jin are sensed. The Saiya-jin make fun of the three on the ground, and Kuririn comments on these guys being "Saiya-jin," and being very powerful. It's obvious that the three have been waiting for the invaders. Piccolo asks what they've come for, and Vejita recognizes the voice from when he'd heard it over Radits' radio. Nappa thinks that Piccolo looks like someone from planet Namek. (Kuririn wonders if this means that Piccolo is an alien. So, Piccolo comes from a planet of magic users.) Vejita says that they've also come for the Dragon Balls. Apparently, Namek is where the original Dragon Balls came from. They think that Piccolo has the Ball to give to them, but he's just there to fight them. Kami-sama is worried, and he talks about Namek a little. So, since they have to fight, Nappa starts reading off their opponent's power levels (Kuririn is 981, Piccolo is 1220, and Gohan is 1083.) He thinks that this is pitiful, but Vejita tells him that they don't need to use the scouters and that he should take his off. Nappa agrees, saying that Radits was a weakling for relying on his scouter (Piccolo chokes on the "weakling" part, and Kuririn continues, saying it had taken both Gokuu and Piccolo to kill Radits.) Since Vejita just wants the Dragon Balls, he tells Nappa to create 6 Cybermen. Since the good guys are confused by this, Nappa tells them that this is how you make Cybermen. Vejita tells the Cybermen to hurt the three good guys. However, everyone notices an energy buildup just before Tenshinhan, Chao-zu, and Yamcha appear. They greet each other, and fill in the details for the new guys. Vejita is happy, and orders the Cybermen to go one on one. He tells them to begin the game, and Piccolo gets rankled that this is called a "game," (Kuririn tries to calm him down because Gokuu hasn't shown yet.) They go one on one, with Vejita volunteering one of his Cybermen, and Tenshin announcing that he'll start first. Nappa is surprised when Tenshin appears to win, and the others cheer the triclops. Vejita thinks that this is fun, but Nappa can't believe that anyone can defeat a cyberman (since they have power ratings of 1200.) Vejita discounts the use of pure numbers, which Nappa does believe in. The cyberman stands up, and Kuririn gives a warning. No one, however, expects it when Vejita destroys it with a simple gesture. Nappa asks why, and Vejita says that Tenshin had won. He gives a warning to the remaining Cybermen. Piccolo thinks that Vejita is a madman. Vejita asks who's going to fight next, and Nappa reinforces the threat to the Cybermen. Yamcha volunteers to fight next, but Kuririn wants to go. Gohan thinks that the cyberman has disappeared, and Piccolo calls him an idiot, saying that the creature is just moving very fast. Yamcha apparently defeats his creature, and gives a warning to the Saiya-jin, telling them that they're down to 4 of the things. Vejita tells him to think again. The creature grabs Yamcha, sneers, and explodes, killing Yamcha. This makes Kuririn angry, as he thinks about how this is going to affect Buruma and Pool. Kuririn tells the others to get back, and attacks. The group spreads out, as people comment on the energy level, and they tell each other to run. They cheer, and Kuririn is happy at having done some damage. But he missed one, and Tenshin curses. Piccolo stops it before it can touch Gohan, and Tenshin is surprised at how easy the demon king destroys it. Gohan thanks Piccolo, but the demon says that he wasn't trying to save the boy, that was only a warm-up for the upcoming fight. Vejita walks through the smoke, hoping that the fight is going to be a good one. The others are surprised that the Saiya-jin aren't scratched, and Kuririn had attacked at full power. Nappa tells Vejita that he wants to handle the group, and finish them off in an instant. Vejita tells him to do what he wants. Nappa wants them to make it fun for him. Then he powers up, and Chao's ESP isn't working anymore. The others are astounded by the alien's strength, and he's about to attack.
Episodes 21-30 Nappa powers up, and Piccolo announces the attack. Vejita laughs when Ten loses his arm. Nappa thinks "one down," but Ten narrowly escapes. He's annoyed that Ten is still alive after the second attack, and Piccolo can't believe the Saiya-jin's power. Kuririn swears, and Piccolo tries to stop him from rescuing his friend, but Kuririn tells the demon to shut up. The new hole shows Piccolo that Nappa has amazing energy. Kuririn notices that Chao-zu is missing, and Vejita shouts out a warning that Nappa is too slow to understand. Nappa curses the little brat while Ten yells at him to escape. Chao-zu telepaths "goodbye Ten-san, don't die." Ten can't believe this, and yells for Chao-zu to stop. Chao-zu self-destructs. Ten yells out Chao-zu's name, and Piccolo is proud of the runt. But Nappa's people can handle this kind of thing. Gokuu is trying to rush forward. Nappa claims that the triclops will be next. Kuririn is surprised that Nappa is still ok, and that Chao-zu is dead, and Ten knows that his friend can't be wished alive anymore. Nappa rubs it in. Piccolo tells Kuririn to get ready. Vejita starts talking to Piccolo to distract him as Nappa attacks. The demon and Kuririn warp out and back in to save Ten. Gohan is told to attack, but he freezes up in fear. Piccolo curses him, and Kuririn and the demon shoot instead. But their timing is off. Nappa kills time threatening them, so Tenshin decides to avenge Chao-zu with Kikouhou. Which fails. Piccolo calls Nappa a monster. Using Kikouhou causes Tenshin to die. Vejita thinks this kind of attack is stupid. Kuririn yells for Gokuu to hurry. Piccolo is stunned that Nappa hasn't died. Vejita wonders about this "Gokuu". Nappa states that with one more down, it's the others' turn. He also talks about Namek and getting the Dragon Balls. Kuririn asks about their chances of being brought back, and Piccolo says "none." Kuririn can't afford to die, either. Mr. Popo asks Kami-sama what's wrong, and the god wants Gokuu to hurry because Piccolo is about to die. Piccolo wants to land to use Kuuchuusen, and Nappa doesn't care where they want to fight. Nappa attacks, Gohan calls for his father, and Vejita tells Nappa to wait. No one understands, but the Saiya-jin wants Gokuu to arrive first, especially since it appears that these Dragon Balls can be used to resurrect people. He tells Nappa to wait for 3 hours, but the big guy refuses to do something so stupid. So Vejita reminds him of his place. During the lull, Gohan apologizes for freezing up, and Piccolo fumes about the strength of the big guy and the shrimp who controls him. The big alien wants to know why they're waiting for Kakarot, and the shrimp likens the situation to a stew, where you need all the ingredients. Nappa likes this better, and Vejita mentions Namek's Dragon Balls again. Kuririn is fretting over what's taking Gokuu so long and the fact that the two Saiya-jin are so strong. Vejita's scouter beeps, showing that the three hours are up, and the little Saiya-jin insults Gokuu. Piccolo states that the one chance they have for winning is for Kuririn to distract Nappa, while Piccolo goes in to grab Nappa's tail. Then, Gohan is to finish the guy off. Gohan promises (in a stutter) to do better this time. Kuririn is impressed with the demon. Then, Kami-sama yells that Gokuu has arrived, and warps out. Gokuu sees the end of the Snake Road, meets up with Kami-sama (they yell each other's name,) and then warp out. The gate demon comments on this being a Kaiou-sama thing. Mr. Popo wishes Gokuu luck, and Gokuu rushes off hoping that Gohan and the others are still alive. Karin-sama is waiting for Gokuu, and throws him 2 Senzu seeds. He eats one (gets better very fast,) and saves the other. Calling Kintoen, he tells the cloud "long time no see." He then flies towards the location of a great power build up. Kuririn starts his attack, Piccolo makes his move and calls for Gohan. Kuririn thinks they've succeeded, but Nappa calls them stupid, and drops Piccolo. He's happy that Piccolo isn't dead, and he asks about the Dragon Balls. Vejita laughs, because their tails aren't their weak points. Nappa is through with Piccolo, and goes to play with Gohan. Although Gohan has Saiya-jin blood, he's been tainted by his father, Kakarot, so must die. Kuririn wants Nappa to stop, and Nappa isn't done playing yet. Kuririn calls him a bastard, and attacks. Vejita likes Kuririn's moves, but Nappa just gets angry. Kuririn uses Kien-zan. Nappa isn't impressed, but Vejita tells him to avoid the ball, which cuts his cheek and trashes a hilltop. The sight of his own blood enrages Nappa, and he uses a killing attack that leaves him open for Piccolo's blindside blast. And Vejita laughs at his partner's pain. Nappa threatens Piccolo, who then senses a powerful presence. Nappa wonders what it is, Piccolo answers that Gokuu is coming, and tells them that this is what they'd been waiting for. There are various reactions to this, and Gokuu approaches, summing up power levels ("2 big levels, 2 lesser levels, one small level. So, who's dead?") He wants Kintoen to go faster. Nappa asks if the enemy are right about Kakarot coming. Vejita isn't sure who it is, but in 4 minutes, someone with a 5000 level will arrive. Nappa thinks there must be a mistake, Vejita gets pensive, Piccolo gloats, and then Vejita tells Nappa to kill Piccolo and Gohan so they can leave before Kakarot can show up. Nappa asks about how they'll find the Dragon Balls, and Vejita says he'll do that himself. He knows where Namek is, and the more powerful Balls are there. Nappa sneers over this 5000 level Kakarot. Gohan tells Piccolo to escape -- he'll hold the two until his father arrives. That way Piccolo won't die, and neither will Kami-sama. But Piccolo won't do it. Kuririn curses, unable to move. Nappa asks if Gohan can really hold him off, and charges. Gohan gets some spirit, which only makes Nappa mad with the "brat." He attacks, shouting "die!!!!!" But gets Piccolo, instead. The demon tells Gohan to escape, then collapses. Gohan asks why Piccolo saved him, and the demon just repeats "run away." Gohan tells him to not die. Nappa thinks it was a stupid move, but it was still fine by him. Gokuu notices that one power level has just dropped fast, and he wonders who it is. Kami-sama is suffering too. Piccolo says that Gohan is on his own, warns him about the moon, and then dies. Kami-sama goes, too. Mr. Popo shouts out "Kami-sama!!!!" Gohan uses Masen-kou, and everyone notices his power level jump to 2800. However, Nappa punches the blast away, then comments on Gohan's having become a bit more impressive (looks like his hand hurts a little.) However, Vejita knows that Gohan has shot his wad. Gohan apologizes to Piccolo for failing, Kuririn curses, and Nappa comes in for the kill (laughing at Gohan's weakness.) The boy notices that he's now riding on Kintoen, Nappa asks what happened, and Kuririn says Gokuu's name. The two survivors greet their rescuer, and Vejita says that his arrival is a good joke. Gohan tells his father that Piccolo had died while protecting him. Gokuu counts the dead -- Tenshinhan, Yamcha; Nappa laughs, trying to increase the shock by mentioning another dead runt. Gokuu realizes that this means Chao-zu, and of course Kami-sama. Vejita watches Gokuu's power level rise. Gokuu approaches Nappa, who thinks that the man wants to die also. He attacks, but Gokuu only wants to get Gohan to go over by Kuririn. Vejita thinks "fast..." Gokuu tries to give his last Senzu seed to his friend, but Kuririn wants it saved for Gokuu himself. Finally, Kuririn eats half, and Gohan eats the other half. Gokuu tries to cheer them up, but the two feel that they weren't strong enough to keep their friends from dying. But now that Gokuu is here... but Gokuu wants them to leave, so that he can fight on his own. Kuririn and Gohan object, but Gokuu has started powering up. Realizing that they're not in the same league, Kuririn decides to take Gohan away. Nappa keeps blustering. Vejita breaks his scouter when Gokuu's level clears 8000. Nappa asks what Kakarot's level is, but then believes that there's some mistake. Gokuu wants him to worry, and says that he's using Kaiou's techniques. (Vejita doesn't understand what this means.) Nappa loses his cool and attacks. Everyone is surprised at Gokuu's speed. (Vejita notices that this isn't the same thing that happened when Radits was doing the fighting.) Gokuu is not impressed with Nappa, who then also powers up. Kuririn and Gohan can't see Gokuu move, and Vejita wonders how Kakarot could have gotten better so fast. Gokuu's first real punch was pay-back for Chao-zu. The second is for Yamcha. Nappa curses him as a "shit brat." Nappa's killing blast is stopped, and Vejita wonders about someone that can do that with just a kiai. The third blow is for Tenshinhan. The kick is for Piccolo. Nappa starts yelling out "Shit -- shit -- !!!!!" Gokuu decides that Nappa really is tough. Nappa blusters, Kuririn and Gohan cheer (thinking they're going to win,) and Vejita tells him to use his head. Nappa thanks him for the advice. Vejita thinks that the big guy is an idiot. Nappa can now use his special powers, which gives Gokuu a little fun. Then, Nappa mentions his mouth attack, and declares the fight over. Gokuu uses an abbreviated form of Kamehame-ha (just the "Ha" part) to protect himself. Vejita is annoyed, because the blast got close to him. Nappa is stunned, because his #1 attack proved useless. However, Gokuu is more impressed at Nappa's toughness. Vejita is getting impatient. Kuririn is impressed with the big guy. Since he has to keep Vejita happy, and he can't touch Gokuu, Nappa decides to take on Kuririn and Gohan, instead. So, as Nappa gets ready to use his mouth attack, Gokuu uses Kaiou-ken to become faster and more powerful. Gokuu finishes off Nappa, and tells them to leave. Vejita mulls over Gokuu's improved power and speed. Nappa swears, Vejita fumes, and Kuririn asks if his friend learned this attack from Kaiou-sama. Gokuu states that it's an increase in control. However, there are drawbacks to the teachings. Nappa asks Vejita to help him, apologizing. But, Vejita just sneers, states that he's useless as a Saiya-jin, and kills his partner. The power surge hits Gokuu. The heroes try to understand this, and Gokuu tells them to return to Kame House. They argue about this (including the fact that Piccolo and Kami-sama can't be brought back via the Dragon Balls.) Vejita wonders if they're going to fight, or run. Kuririn and Gohan give their last respects to Gokuu, and return to Kame House. Vejita tells Gokuu that running away wouldn't have been any good anyway. However, this is a bad place to fight, so they search for a better battleground. They find a place where there's nothing living. Vejita talks about the soldier nature of the Saiya-jin, and then they get ready to fight. Eventually, Vejita asks Kakarot what's wrong, and then shows that Nappa was a wuss. However, Gokuu states that he hasn't been trying all that hard himself, and uses Kaiou-ken to power up. They fight some more, and Gokuu still gets hit. Then Vejita and Gokuu bluster a bit.
Episodes 31-35 Vejiita finally decides to power up. Gokuu is surprised at the energy, and feels like he's being hit by a typhoon. All the clouds are blown away. Vejiita says it's over, and attacks. Gokuu gets hit from behind, and gears up to Kaiou-ken #2. Vejiita is having fun. Gokuu curses at the other's power and speed, which are too much for KK#2. He prepares himself for the death of his body, and announces that he's going to use KK#3. Which amuses Vejiita. Meanwhile, there was one fighter who had not appeared earlier to attack the Saiya-jin. Yajirobee cowers behind the rocks, thinking that the power of the two combatants seems to have come out from a bad dream. Gokuu thinks about the stresses KK#3 will put on his body. Vejiita taunts Gokuu, and Yajirobee keeps cowering. Gokuu uses KK#3, which Kaiou-sama senses (the king can not predict the outcome of the fight.) They fight, and Vejiita gets mad at getting messed up. Finally, Gokuu gets in one good punch, which enrages the surprised Saiya-jin. Gokuu curses the other's toughness. Yajirobee is impressed, and hopes Gokuu will win. KK#3 is starting to take it's toll on Gokuu's body, Vejiita sees his own blood and goes insane. They both react, with Vejiita using Gyarikku-hou, and Gokuu using KK#3 Kamehame-ha. They both strain, and Gokuu pushes into KK#4. Yajirobee rushes out, thinking that Gokuu has won. They greet each other, but the monk's slap on the back puts Gokuu in a coughing fit. Then, Gokuu suggests that the monk run away; Yajirobee slowly realizes what may be wrong. Yes, Vejiita is still alive, and Yajirobee has trouble accepting this. But, he does leave, wishing Gokuu good luck. Vejiita frees himself from the blast, and rages on about being the best Saiya-jin in the world. He then has a thought, and goes searching for this planet's moon. Kaiou-sama frets over Gokuu's chances, Gokuu wonders what's taking Vejiita so long, and Vejiita wonders where they've put the moon for this planet. No matter, he can make due without it. Gokuu is thinking about Kaiou-sama's concept of a genki dama. Vejiita returns, talking about the missing moon (Gokuu doesn't understand.) The Saiya-jin describes the brute strength increase Saiya-jin get when they see the full moon. And, he makes a little one of his own. Gokuu doesn't recognize the full moon (without his tail, it has no effect.) Kaiou-sama is stunned. Vejiita gloats, and then changes into a were-monkey. Kuririn and Gohan are near Kame House, when they sense the light and power of a star behind them. The power isn't from Gohan's father, so it must be that of the Saiya-jin. Gohan has to go back and help his dad. They argue a little, but Gohan isn't going to run away any more. Kuririn decides to go with. Gokuu is stunned, and Vejiita asks him about the new situation. Vejiita claims that his power has increased by a factor of ten. As Gokuu thinks about this, he remembers a warning his grandfather had made about not looking at the full moon, and remaining asleep at night. Then Kami-sama had suggested removing the tail. Gokuu suddenly realizes that when he'd been a were-monkey a long time ago, he'd killed his own grandfather by accident. He apologizes to the old man, living in "the other world." Yajirobee is trying to understand that Saiya-jin turn into were-monkeys. Gokuu thinks about "genki dama," and attacks. He loses his concentration, and has to re-invoke Kaiou-ken. But, he loses it again. Vejiita tells him to try to run away, and Gokuu thinks about using KK#5, which requires a 10 second rest. He needs an opening, so he uses Tenshin's blinding Taiyou-ken. During the lull, Gokuu invokes the power of the sea to give him energy to recover. Vejiita curses his blindness, and gets better before Gokuu has fully recharged himself. But, Gokuu is a lot better now, too. Vejiita finds him and uses a mouth blast to undo all of that recharging. Gokuu is nearly helpless, but does dodge a few of Vejiita's attacks. Vejiita steps on Gokuu's legs, crushing them. Kuririn states that Gokuu's power has dropped a lot. Gohan yells "father" and he keeps approaching. Vejiita gloats, then prepares to finish off his enemy, and then the rest of the world. Gokuu curses, looking like he's lost, but he still has energy for one more attack. As Vejiita grabs his damaged eye, Gokuu waits for the end. Vejiita picks up the body, raging over the damage to his face. Yajirobee can't do anything, and Gokuu's ribs break. Gohan and Kuririn are very close now. Kuririn can't understand the point of the glowing orb. They see the giant were-monkey, and Kuririn tells Gohan to land. Kuririn wants to help Gokuu, but they find Yajirobee first. He says that the were-monkey is the Saiya-jin, and Kuririn growls out that he knows. And that they have to cut off its tail. Kuririn states that Gohan and he will act as a distraction, while Yajirobee does the cutting. Yajirobee hates this idea, since Vejiita is so strong. Gohan thinks to his father to not die, and Kuririn realizes that Gokuu's power level is so low that his friend will soon die. Vejiita notices something, and Gohan attracts his attention. Kuririn prepares Kien-zan. Vejiita makes Gohan watch his father's torture. Kuririn attacks, but misses. Vejiita notices the other guy, but dismisses him to continue killing Kakarot. Kuririn fumes helplessly, and apologizes to Gokuu. Then, something happens. Vejiita discovers that there was one more insect. Now, with his tail cut off, he reverts to normal. Yajirobee prays that no one noticed him. Kuririn praises the monk (who keeps cowering,) and Vejiita promises to kill everyone. Gohan is trying to understand how the monster changed into the Saiya-jin. Vejiita takes his rage out on the human-Saiya-jin child, and keeps on about the boy not being a pure-blood. Then, the boy is discarded to die with his father. Gokuu tells the boy that he can't move, so Gohan has to keep trying. Vejiita notices that Gokuu is still awake. Gohan replies that he's powerless, too. Vejiita decides to kill Gokuu, and then the brat. After, it's the bastard that had cut his tail. Yajirobee panics. Gokuu tries to reassure his son, but the boy claims he can't move. Gokuu yells at him to not die, and to remember what Piccolo had taught him. Vejiita continues to rough up Gokuu, Gokuu calls to Gohan, and the boy tells the Saiya-jin to stop it. Gohan's claim to assault Vejiita amuses the alien. But, he is surprised at the boy's attack. Gokuu tells Kuririn to come over. Kuririn says that Gohan should be allowed to escape, but the man states that he's going to give Kuririn the genki dama. Kuririn doesn't understand, so Gokuu explains a little, and then tells his friend to hurry because Gohan's going to die. The little guy is told to hold Gokuu's hand, then the transfer occurs. Now, he's overwhelmed by the power he's just been given. Gokuu wishes him luck, since this is a level of power Gohan can't control. Gokuu also says that this new sphere is the Genki Tama. It's a one-shot, because Gokuu can't make another one. Kuririn says he understands. The other two keep fighting, then Vejiita claims that he's the baddest, and disappears before Kuririn can attack. A voice sounds in Kuririn's head, telling him not to try to see the opponent with his eyes while trying to use the Genki Tama. It's Kaiou-sama, giving advice. Vejiita gloats at having superior speed, and Kuririn is told to sense the power of evil. Gohan gets blasted, as Kuririn tries to find Vejiita without using his eyes. Yajirobee notices the great power of the ball. Vejiita wants Gokuu to see what happens to the boy. Kuririn suddenly senses the great evil, and Yajirobee yells out for the runt to fire away already. Vejiita is alerted, Kuririn swears at the monk and fires. Vejiita wonders what this is, and leaps out of the way. This was the last chance, and now it's going to kill Gohan. Gokuu thinks out for Gohan to sense the presence of evil and redirect the attack. Which happens. Everyone is impressed by the reaction, and they celebrate and congratulate each other. Vejiita's body lands, and Kuririn thinks it's just a corpse. But, Vejiita isn't killed so easily. Kaiou can't believe that the genki dama hadn't been effective. Vejiita is ready for payback time, at having been damaged. Kuririn has to wait to die, though. What hurts the Saiya-jin most, is the assault on his pride. He powers up further, and Gokuu just swears. Vejiita tries to destroy the area, but only succeeds in blowing the bodies around without killing anyone. He tries to hurry to finish everyone off, before the last of his strength fades. Then, Vejiita notices Gohan's tail, and tries to kill the boy before he can see the artificial moon. Kuririn understands what this means, too. Then, Vejiita senses someone behind him. Yajirobee celebrates, thinking that he's killed the alien. But, Vejiita stands back up, calling the monk a bastard. Yajirobee starts apologizing, saying it was all just a big joke. Vejiita finishes off the monk, and returns to the more important tasks. Gokuu yells out for his boy to look up at the moon. Yelling that he's blown it, Vejiita rushes in and yells "die!!!" Too late. Trying to kill the changing monster, Vejiita keeps pounding away. Then, the prince decides to go for the tail to rip it off. Which makes him vulnerable, instead. However, neither Gokuu nor Gohan can control themselves in were-monkey form. Kuririn realizes that this is "like father, like son." He yells out for Gohan to attack the Saiya-jin, which the boy does. The runt is happier, because Gohan has a little bit of humanity in him. Vejiita is starting to hurt, and his artificial moon will last for a full hour. His only choice is to cut off the tail. He attacks with something similar to Kuririn's Kien-zan. The attack succeeds, but he can't move out of the way in time. Gohan's partially changed body lands on him. Kuririn hopes that it's over, while the alien has enough energy to summon his space ship. Elsewhere, some men are excavating the alien craft, trying to analyze it, when it takes off. They are left sprawling, wondering what happened. Lying helplessly on the ground, waiting for the speeding ship, Vejiita can't believe that he's been beaten.
Episodes 36-47 Buruma, Kamesennin, Karin-sama, and Chi Chi are searching for their friends. Senpyou sees the bright light from the full moon, and Chi Chi goes berserk, hoping that Gohan is still alive. Kamesennin senses 5 people, one very weak, and Senpyou states that the Saiya-jin isn't dead, either. Meanwhile, Vejita's ship has arrived, and he struggles to reach it. Kuririn struggles to stab the Saiya-jin in the back with Yajirobee's sword. Kaiou-sama is hoping that the evil will end here. Kuririn says he's going to kill his enemy, Vejita curses his immobility, and the runt yells "die!!!!" A voice says "stop." Everyone reacts to Gokuu's telepathic command, and he tells his friend that since Vejita is going to leave, that he shouldn't be killed. They argue, until Gokuu wins. Vejita's parting words to "the garbage" are that it's been fun. Kuririn tells the unconscious Gohan that it's now safe, and Yajirobee complains about having been hit. Gokuu apologizes to Kuririn, who shrugs it off. Then the rescuers arrive, and Chi Chi cries out "Gohan" as she rushes to care for her son. Kuririn tells her that the boy is fine, but she wails on about his having been injured. The others comfort Gokuu, Kuririn tells Buruma about the dead, including Yamcha. But, she thinks that her lover can be brought back in one year. She can't accept Gokuu's explanation that with Kami-sama dead, the Balls won't work. At least, Yajirobee tells her, Yajirobee himself is still alive. Buruma breaks down. Kamesennin already misses Piccolo, and Yajirobee is upset that no one cares about him. Senpyou tells them to take the wounded to the hospital, because there are no more Senzu Seeds. Kamesennin then searches for the corpses, and Kuririn mentions that there's a slight hope for the dead, and Gokuu asks about this, too. But, the answer has to wait until they collect the bodies. Chao-zu's is missing, since he self-destructed. Karin-sama comments on the sacrifice, Kamesennin is too angry to pilot the craft, and Buruma takes over again. Gohan wakes up, and Chi Chi goes overboard in telling the boy that everything's ok. Kuririn says that they're safe, and Yajirobee states that he's ok, too. Gohan asks about his dad, Gokuu answers back. The monk asks Chi Chi why she's not concerned about her husband, and she rants about the man's carelessness in letting her boy get hurt. Buruma reminds Kuririn about what he was going to say earlier. He tells them about Piccolo having been recognized as a Namek-jin, and some vague mentions of the original Dragon Balls, which could be used to revive everyone. Gohan verifies this, and gets excited at the idea of Piccolo coming back. Kuririn picks this up, because then Kami-sama will return, as will the power of the regular Balls. Buruma doesn't join in the rejoicing though, as she asks Kuririn if they know where Namek is. Gokuu states that Kaiou-sama would know. He asks, Kaiou-sama replies, and the others can hear him in their hearts. This is partly because of Gokuu's presence, because he's in shock from having used Kaiou-ken. Kaiou-sama looks up the location of Namek -- SU83 by 9045YX. Buruma recognizes the latter coordinate, and has "Kame-chan" take the wheel. ("Kame-chan...") Kaiou states that a long time ago, nearly everyone on the planet got wiped out. He locates the general direction of Namek. Senpyou comments on how Kami-sama is the lone survivor of this planet. But if that's so, who's there to make the older Balls work? They speculate about this until Kaiou discovers that there's about 100 Namek-jin still on Namek. (Yajirobee thinks about what it's like to have 100 people looking like Kami-sama.) They discuss this a bit, too, with Kamesennin happily suggesting that Tenshinhan and Yamcha can soon be wished back alive. Buruma states otherwise. It will take 4339 years for them to reach those coordinates. Kaiou-sama hadn't considered that part. Kuririn comes to the rescue again, reminding them about the Saiya-jin's ultra-fast spaceships, and pulls out the controller that Vejita had dropped. Buruma now thinks it's possible, and they all celebrate. The next day, they're at the hospital. It'll take Gokuu 4 months to heal, but one month for Senpyou to grow more Senzu Seeds. Kuririn gloats over that fact that Kuririn and Gohan will get out in 3 days, and he comments on Gokuu's looking like a mummy. Yajirobee grouses about not having been admitted, and Senpyou replies that the monk only wants to get at the hospital's food. Kuririn follows up with the conversation between the monk and Vejita, that gets Yajirobee hopping mad. Gyuu-ou says that they're all lucky to be alive, when Buruma runs into the room and tells them to turn on the TV. [Buruma's hair style changed over night.] Seems that scientists have found Nappa's ship. They're speculating about what this means, and Buruma announces that she's going to take over the ship with the controller Kuririn found. She's very pleased with herself, and she enters the control code. The ship explodes. This was their last chance, since not even Kintoen can help them out. Then Mister Popo shows up to tell them that he's probably found a space ship. He's not sure, but it's probably what Kami-sama used to reach this planet. Kuririn answers that Buruma would know, but she doesn't trust the strange black man with the big eyes. The two disappear, and Kuririn has his doubts about the ship. The two instantaneously arrive in the cold desolate region where the ship is, and walk the little ways to it. Popo asks if this is a space ship, and Buruma isn't sure. She asks how Popo knows about this, and he states that 100 years ago, Kami-sama told him what had happened. How Kami-sama had found himself on this planet as a small child, with the instruction to wait by the ship for a relative to show. After 20-30 years of waiting, the child gave up. Buruma wonders what the point is, and Popo tells her to let him make it. The little demon had made the ship his home. Between it's four legs, a door will open if you say "Piccolo." They get on the door, and Popo says "Piccolo" again to get them inside. Buruma finally realizes that Kami-sama is a Namek-jin, so the ship should have a way to get back home. She finds the control panel, and tries to understand it. She has no luck (searching for main switches, and code numbers,) until a voice sounds in her head. It's similar to what Piccolo and Kami-sama had spoken at the Tenkaichi-budoukai. Mister Popo tells her that he knows Namek-speech. She tells him to make the ship fly (doesn't matter where,) and he replies that the ship is saying "Ok." They take off, Buruma is impressed, and Popo is happy that Kami-sama can now be brought back to life. Back at the hospital, Buruma is enthused, telling people that it will only take one month to reach Namek. The ship will be fixed up in 5 days. The others are happy, but Popo says that he can't go. Buruma freaks, and Kuririn tells her that she'll have to go. So, she states that Kuririn has to come with. Yajirobee backs out, but Kamesennin volunteers to spend two months with her (Buruma turns him down.) Gokuu can't go, since he needs the rest. Then, Gohan pipes up, only to have Gokuu and Chi Chi argue over this (Gokuu thinks it's a good thing, Chi Chi wants her boy to study.) He wants to help bring Piccolo back, and finally shouts to make his mother shut up. (This show of spirit makes Gokuu happy, but the boy now has to apologize to her to keep her from crying.) Gohan tells her that he has to try to help bring his friends back, after everything they've done. Yajirobee is impressed, and Gyuu-ou tells his daughter that she's lost. Buruma tells them to meet at Kame House in 10 days. Later, in the ship, Buruma's father is impressed with the craft, and she tells him to stop messing around. On the appointed day, Kuririn comments on the size of the ship, but Buruma is upset because he's dressed wrong for the occasion. Kamesennin wonders where Gohan is, and Kuririn answers that the boy went to visit Gokuu one more time. Then, the others arrive, and Gyuu-ou also remarks on the ship. Chi Chi's mothering of her boy cracks up everyone, but destroys Buruma. Kamesennin wishes them luck, they say their good-byes. Kuririn is excited, but when he asks where to put his gear, Buruma just snaps at him. She gives them 5 seconds' warning before blasting off for Namek, and Kuririn complains about not having been able to use the seatbelts first. Kamesennin is impressed with their speed, and Chi Chi yells for Gohan to remember to rinse. Then it's time to settle in for the long journey. Gohan is awed at seeing the Earth, but Buruma is in a bad mood, and Kuririn can't figure out why. They change into more comfortable clothes, and Kuririn thinks that Buruma's outfit is really a set of pajamas. It's a long trip to Namek. After a while, Buruma becomes conscious long enough to notice Gohan win a session of image training. Kuririn is impressed with the combination of Gokuu's blood, and Piccolo's training, but the boy also complements his friend's strength. Buruma wants them to clean up after her, because there's a lady present. Kuririn objects, since she's the one that made the mess, but she states that she's too busy with running the ship. Then, she asks where Vejita has escaped to, where his planet is. Kuririn doesn't know. They speculate about the idea of other Saiya-jin running around. Then, on Freeza Planet #79, Vejita arrives. At first, the guard post thinks it's Freeza, but they quickly identify the ship. They panic, and notify their superiors. The greeting party wonders what's happened to Nappa, then they wonder why the distinguished Vejita isn't coming out. He's quickly taken to the medics. Eventually, Vejita recovers, but his tail doesn't grow back. He changes to a new suit, asks where Freeza is, and is told that Freeza's gone, but Kewie is available in the Training Room. Vejita leaves, saying that he doesn't need a scouter. He broods, then meets Kewie, who gloats over the deaths of Radits and Nappa. They snap at each other (these guys don't like Saiya-jin,) until Kewie states that Freeza has left for Namek. Vejita realizes that the info must have been relayed via their scouters, and rushes off when told that Freeza is also after the Dragon Balls (which he claims are his alone.) After their 34-day flight, Buruma and company arrive on Namek. Kuririn and Gohan are excited, Buruma is cautious. When they land, she tells them to suit up in the hazardous atmosphere suits. But, the other two are already running around outside, to her annoyance (they don't understand what's wrong.) But, the mood lightens when it turns out that the Dragon Radar works on Namek. But, Gohan senses a strong power, and Kuririn notices it too. Buruma figures that it's just another Namek, like Piccolo. The two aren't so sure. She reassures them, and states that 4 of the Balls are already in one place. They get ready to go meet some Namek people, when a Saiya-jin ship streaks through the sky (Buruma yells at it.) Kuririn tells Gohan to mask his power, since this is probably Vejita's ship. They curse over discovering that they have competition for the Balls. Kuririn and Gohan are going to go after the Balls, Buruma plans on staying at the ship and notifying Kame House -- they can be rescued in only 2 months. Vejita walks out, still claiming the Balls as his. He plans on fighting Freeza to the death, but has trouble using the scouter. Eventually, the scouter indicates Freeza's location, and that of Dodoria and Zarbon. On Earth, Kamesennin is told that Vejita has appeared, and he's to notify Gokuu, but not Chi Chi. Then, another Saiya-jin ship streaks past, landing nearby. Somewhere, in a Namek village, a minion has found the town's Dragon Ball. Freeza is pleased, and wants it added to the 3 he already has. Zarbon relays a message from Kewie, concerning Vejita. Freeza states that Kewie and Vejita are about equal. Kewie looks forward to settling things. Buruma and Kuririn are worried at the appearance of another Saiya-jin. Kewpie finds Vejita and goes to kill him on Freeza's orders. Vejita looks forward to this. Meanwhile, Buruma wants to return to Earth and wait for Gokuu. Kuririn tries to get her to wait, to talk Gohan into going with her. She wants them to stay to get the Balls to resurrect Piccolo and Kami-sama. Gohan then senses a Saiya-jin, but it turns out to be two of Freeza's warriors who are looking someone that's not Namek-jin. Kuririn and Buruma discover that the two guys aren't Namek-jin, either. They threaten each other a bit, then the Saiya-jin destroy the ship to keep them from leaving. This makes the two Earthlings angry, and the two Saiya-jin amused. However, the sudden increase in power worries the bad guys just before they get trashed. Kuririn and Gohan congratulate each other ("Nice, Nice,") and Buruma yells at them for it. Zarbon notices the blip of power, but tells Freeza that it was nothing. It wasn't Vejita -- just two people with 1500 levels. Buruma's upset at having been stranded, and not being able to ever return to Earth. Kuririn and Gohan are going after the Balls, and want to find a safe place for Buruma to hide. Kewpie and Vejita taunt each other, and Vejita has to explain that the scouter is registering very little power because he's mastered power control now. He has to explain further, then shows his true level -- at 22000 it breaks Kewpie's scouter, and Kewie is very shocked (they're not evenly matched after all.) Zarbon decides that Vejita has arrived. Dodoria thinks that his partner's scouter was malfunctioning, but Vejita really is registering at 24000. That's more than Dodoria and Zarbon. They talk about that (he was only 18000 before.) Freeza isn't impressed, and he knows what the Saiya-jin is after. Kewpie is trying to strike a deal to band against Freeza, but it's just a stalling tactic. Kewpie announces that Freeza has arrived, then attacks. He's sure that he's won, but Vejita says that his speed has increased, too. Vejita easily wins, and is happy at seeing fireworks today. He decides that with the scouters, Zarbon and Dodoria can see him approaching, and that they'll be able to find the Dragon Balls. But if they only get 6, they'll be useless. He wants the Balls to realize his dream of being the number 1 fighter in the universe. Dodoria is concerned about Vejita's strength, and ability to easily kill Kewie. Freeza is more interested in getting the fifth Ball, which is in a Namek village with 10 Namek-jin in it. They leave for the village. Kuririn tells Buruma to try to keep up a little longer. She's exhausted and not happy. They find a cave for her, but it's dark and she doesn't want to go in. They sense some more power, it's not Namek, and it's getting closer. They hide, wondering if they've been sensed. Buruma is relieved when the group passes by, but wonders who they were. Kuririn and Gohan, however, are panicked, and the runt asks to see what the Dragon Radar shows concerning four of the Balls. Turns out that the strangers do indeed have those Balls. Kuririn asks if Gohan noticed the group leader -- he did, and the leader was incredibly strong. Kuririn likens the little leader to Vejita -- both are overwhelmingly strong. Buruma wonders who can be like Vejita, Kuririn doesn't know but the group was dressed like Saiya-jin. Kuririn is frustrated at the thought that the strangers are also after the Balls. The strangers are heading for one Ball, 14km away. Gohan reminds Kuririn about the runt's having sensed the Namek-jin earlier, and they decide to go look at the village. Buruma objects to being left alone, and is told to stay in the cave and tell Kamesennin what's happening. Then the two fighter's rush off. On Earth, the doctor berates the injured Gokuu for exercising in the hospital room. Gokuu is pushed back into bed, with a warning to take better care of himself. Kamesennin comes into the room, checking first whether Chi Chi is in (she's out.) The old man brought some food as a present (kasutera == sponge cake.) He grabs the nurse's butt while stating that he'd talked to Buruma on Namek just 2 hours earlier. (He then asks the nurse if she thinks he'd done something to her just now.) The turtle master says that Vejita is on Namek, that there's 10 strong Namek in the village that they've gone to, and that someone else is there that's at least Vejita's level. While Gokuu's trying to handle this, Yajirobee arrives ("You're alive?") with 7 Senzu seeds from Karin-sama. Gokuu congratulates Yajirobee for having good timing, and demands to be fed a seed right away, while the doctor warns them against eating strange foods. Fully recovered, Gokuu's been waiting for this moment. He puts on his douji (uniform,) takes the seeds, and says he's going to Namek. Seems that Buruma's father has been working on a new and improved space ship (of his own design) for Gokuu to use (based on Radits' spaceship's technology.) The new ship will get him to Namek in 6 days. He calls Kintoen, and rushes off. Yajirobee and Kamesennin wonder if they're expected to follow to help the hero. Gokuu is still concerned about Vejita, who he knows is very strong. At Capsule Corp., Gokuu wonders if the ship is inside one of the buildings. Buruma's mother recognizes Gokuu, even after all this time. He asks where the father is. She takes him inside, commenting on how he's grown up so much, and tries to make a date with him to go to a cake shop she wants to visit. Then, she calls out to her husband, announcing that Gokuu has arrived. The father asks if Gokuu has eaten a Senzu seed already, and is impressed that the seeds really work the way he was told they do. The mother goes off to tell Pool and Oolong that Gokuu's arrived, and will get Gokuu something to drink. Gokuu is impressed at the size of the inside of the ship. The control panel can start the craft on it's journey to Namek, and one dial can vary the on-board gravity to up to 100g (a 60 kg person would weigh 6000 kg, and this would kill any one.) The ship has a bath, toilet, bedroom, and kitchen (which Piccolo's ship didn't.) The only thing left is to install the stereo speakers. Gokuu is stunned that this is all that's left, and the scientist says that a stereo is very important. Gokuu wants to leave now, and tells the old man that he has to save the people on Namek. However, the scientist wonders if Gokuu really doesn't want the stereo. Gokuu launches off, and the scientist is impressed at the speed of his ship. Pool and Oolong walk up, and are disgusted that Gokuu had rushed off without talking to them. The mother arrives with some beer, and is also confused at not finding Gokuu. Our hero is surprised at being surrounded by night already, then he gets ready to face Vejita in 6 days by turning the gravity up to 10g and practicing the Kaiou techniques. Kuririn senses that he's getting closer to the village, so they slow down to a walk. They wonder who the strangers in the village are. They also notice the strong power emanating from the two near the one in the floating chair. As well as the over-sized Namek Dragon Balls. Freeza asks Dodoria what's wrong, and the alien comments on having noticed a little power blip from near Kuririn's position (probably just some insects.) One of the soldiers is threatening to kill one of the Namek village elders, which Kuririn is surprised to see looks just like an older version of Piccolo -- must be a Namek-jin. The Namek want to know what's up, and the heroes wonder if the strangers are Saiya-jin (they're not, although they're dressed the same, they're not like Vejita or Gokuu.) Kuririn repeats something Radits had said before, about other aliens being found on other planets -- this must be an example of what the guy had meant. The elders realize that Freeza has 4 of the Balls, and the alien offers to spare the villagers if they give him their Ball. The elder speaks in Namek, but Freeza orders him to use normal speech (i.e. -- Japanese.) The elder states that it's the village elders' jobs to protect the location of the Dragon Balls, which Freeza already knows. Freeza wants the Ball, and orders Dodoria to kill 2 of the Namek. If that doesn't work, the rest will die. Freeza knows that the elders in each of the villages on Namek all have one of the Balls within the village for safekeeping. He wants to use them to make his wish. So, he's tracking down all of the elders on the planet, and making them the same offer. (At the same time, Vejita is listening in on the conversation via his own scouter.) Freeza wants them to be submissive, which the elders refuse to do. So, Zarbon is ordered to give them an example of what to expect. One elder dies, another attacks in anger and is also killed (after getting in a killing blow to one of Freeza's red-shirt minions.) Kuririn and Gohan don't like what they're seeing. Freeza demands the Balls again, so that he can live for eternity (which Kuririn notices is the same thing that Vejita wants, but the heroes don't know why someone would want to do that.) The elder would rather die first, which is ok by Freeza. He plans on killing everyone on the planet anyway. Then, Dodoria notices some strong power levels approaching. It's a group of Namek soldiers.
Episodes 47-53 The fighting Namek arrive. The Namek complain about the disruption of the peace, Freeza still wants the Ball. Dodoria assesses the fighters at about 1000 -- no challenge. The one elder realizes that the aliens are dependent on the scouters for sensing other peoples' power. The minions are looking forward to an easy fight. Kuririn and Gohan also know that the Namek are hiding their real power. After the minions get trashed, Zarbon asks if these Namek are really 1000's, and Dodoria wonders why the levels have jumped up to 3000 each. Kuririn is happy. Freeza is amused, Dodoria decides that the Namek are using power control. The elder looks around, finding the three remaining scouters, and then tells the two kids to quickly let go of him. Dodoria gets ready to take on the three fighters, when the elder makes his move. Dodoria thinks that the elder just wants to get beaten up first. Then, Zarbon catches on to what's happening, and Kuririn tells us that without the scouters, the aliens are at a serious disadvantage. Dodoria wants to kill the elder out of spite, but Freeza wants that Namek kept alive -- the three fighters should die, though. Dodoria expects to kill the three within 10 seconds, but they don't believe this. The alien has fun for several pages. After the job is done, Freeza states that it's useless to try to run away, and if the Ball isn't turned over, the two kids will be next. The elder succumbs, and gets the Ball. Gohan is losing control, and Kuririn tries to get the boy to settle down. When Freeza gets the Ball, he says that he only needs two more. The elder complains a bit, then Freeza announces that everyone else in the village can die now. The elder comments on the breaking of the promise, which Freeza blames on the desire to make his wish. Zarbon asks how they're going to find the remaining Balls, but that's just a matter of locating the remaining villages. The elder tries to create a diversion to let the kids escape, but Freeza kills Cargo right away. Dodoria breaks the elder's neck, and Kuririn tries to tell Gohan to keep from giving their position away. As Dodoria moves to kill Dende, Gohan yells "stop," and rushes forward. This makes Dodoria pause long enough to get kicked in the face. Kuririn curses Gohan. Dodoria keeps getting knocked down, and Kuririn tells Gohan to run away as he grabs the Namek kid. Freeza notices that the two humans aren't from Namek. Dodoria curses, Freeza tells the alien to catch the kids, Kuririn curses over not being able to escape, and Freeza wonders who the hell the intruders were. Gohan and Kuririn both know that they can't outrun Dodoria, and Kuririn remembers a delaying tactic. He passes off Dende, and then uses Taiyouken to blind Dodoria. Kuririn celebrates, then they hide. When his eyes recover, Dodoria can't find the quarry, and decides to blow up everything to chase them out. The wreckage assures Dodoria that the kids are killed, but he'd really like the bodies to show Freeza. So, Dodoria rushes up. Kuririn decides to take Dende to Buruma, Dende thanks them for saving him, and Kuririn says that it was all Gohan's fault. And yes, Dende can fly on his own. Dodoria wishes for the scouters, which would make finding the last 2 Balls a lot easier on this big planet. Preoccupied, Dodoria is vulnerable to Vejita's surprise attack. The two exchange words, and Dodoria wants Vejita's scouter. Vejita explains that he's learned a lot while on Earth, and he plans on taking out Dodoria and Zarbon in order to get the Balls. They threaten each other, and finally Dodoria attacks. However, Vejita is standing behind him. Vejita is MUCH stronger now, having nearly been killed while on earth. He's now a Sentouminzoku Saiya-jin (i.e. -- stronger.) Dodoria wants a reprieve, in return for which he'll tell Vejita something about Vejita's planet. Seems that the planet hadn't actually been wiped out by a meteor like everyone thought -- the Saiya-jin had gotten uppity, so Freeza had decided to wipe them out. However, Vejita was known to be a formidable opponent, so he'd been spared to be enlisted in Freeza's ranks. Dodoria wants to leave while Vejita is still in shock. Vejita states that's he's really just upset at the idea of being a slave to Freeza like Dodoria is. The alien runs away yelling for Freeza, and Vejita kills him while saying that Freeza should be afraid of Saiya-jin. He then gloats at being so strong, and remembers the alien's comment about the two kids that suddenly showed up. Vejita's not sure which two strong kids would have come to Namek, or why. But for the moment, he has to interfere with Freeza's plans. Kuririn and company are getting closer to Buruma's camp when they notice something coming up on them fast. They hide their powers, and Vejita senses all of this. He approaches them, and they recognize Vejita and see that he doesn't have his scouter. Each side wonders what's happening, and it looks like Vejita has found them until a large fish leaps out of the water. The prince curses the delay, but knows that without their scouters, Freeza isn't going to find the remaining Balls very quickly, either. In relief, Kuririn's group flies off to Buruma's camp, but are dejected at the thought that they're not strong enough to get the Balls to bring their dead friends back. In the camp, they find the Capsule house that Buruma's set up. She berates them for running around to have fun, leaving her on her own. Eventually, she sees someone that looks like Piccolo, and asks if Dende is a Namek-jin. The Namek had been saved by Gohan, and Buruma remembers to tell them that Gokuu will arrive in 6 days. She explains how this is possible, and they celebrate, with Kuririn happy at their improved chances. Vejita senses a strong level of power, marking a village with 20 people, and possibly one of the Dragon Balls. He gloats over getting to it first. He arrives, and demands the Dragon Ball. The villagers wonder what's going on, and the elder says that no evil people can be given the Ball. Vejita says he'll kill them then. Buruma has been briefed, and Kuririn says that there's nothing more they can do right now. They realize that Dende isn't eating, and the Namek replies that he doesn't need food, just some water. Kuririn then asks why their were farmers growing food in the village. Finally, Dende gives his name, and asks where the humans are from. But before answering, Gohan senses a strong power, which marks the death of many of the 20 Namek at the hands of Vejita. Kuririn is frustrated at having to face the combined strengths of Vejita and Freeza without Gokuu's help. They talk about the fates of the Namek as the two sides fight to get the Balls, and Dende demands to know how the Earthlings know about the Namek Dragon Balls, while deciding to ask Gohan to help Dende's people. The village elder refuses to get the Ball for Vejita, so he kills that Namek, saying that he can find it by himself. Buruma completes her recap, and Dende wants to take them to Saichourou -- The main village elder. Vejita happily examines the Ball he's found [Note: It's the #4 Ball, the original of the one that Gokuu thought contained his dead grandfather's soul.] He hides it in the lake, knowing that Freeza can't find it without the scouters. He then wonders how he's going to get the rest of the Balls from Freeza. Zarbon comments on Dodoria's tardiness. Freeza thinks that if the two brats have killed that idiot Dodoria, it's a good thing. They decide to give Freeza the 5 Balls, and then Zarbon and the remaining minion will go separately to the two remaining villages to win the last two Balls. The two fighters split up, (the minion has a 3 hour trip,) and Freeza broods over Vejita's presence, and his plans to get all 7 Balls. He takes his 5 back to his ship, to wait. Buruma ponders over the existence of an ultimate village elder, and Dende explains that this is the Namek that had created the original Dragon Balls. Dende is this elder's 108th generation offspring. Buruma asks how Namek are born -- eggs spit from the mouth. Which means that the elder is female. Dende asks what "female" means. Turns out that Namek only has one sex, which Buruma considers boring. Kuririn wants to talk to an elder to assist the Namek, and Dende points out the location of the #4 Ball, but that's where Vejita has probably killed everyone. That means that almost none of the Namek are left alive. So, they've got to find the Saichourou, but that will take 30 days to walk. Gohan will stay behind, Kuririn and Dende will fly and risk the chance of Vejita sensing their power emanations. As they fly, Kuririn compares Freeza and Vejita, and thinks that they'll have to hold out for 5 1/2 days for Gokuu, after they get the Ball from Saichourou. Which is a matter of hoping for a miracle. Gokuu has finished training at 20 g, and is about to step up to 30 g when he is contacted telepathically by Kaiou-sama. Kaiou catches on to the fact that Gokuu is in a ship heading towards Namek, and states that there's some guests on Kaiou's planets. Some people that Gokuu knows. Gokuu starts to guess, and Kaiou replies that he's going to teach the newbies his techniques. This makes Gokuu happy. Yamcha wants to talk, and is told to touch Kaiou's shoulder. Yamcha recaps the fact that the heroes are going to Namek to wish the dead friends alive. Gokuu guesses that Tenshin, Yamcha, and Piccolo are at Kaiou's, Piccolo grouses about Gokuu having all the fun. The remaining person is Chao-zu, (not Kami-sama, like Gokuu had guessed,) who'd gotten his body back (makes Gokuu more happy.) Gokuu states that he's currently training to become stronger, and has to explain why he's going to Namek: not only has Vejita gotten there first, but someone as strong, named Freeza, is also there. Kaiou has heard of Freeza before, and needs to examine the planet. Ten wants Yamcha to explain what's happening. Kaiou locates Namek, and recognizes Freeza as the ultimate in evil. The creature is close to the two Earthlings and one Namek. Gokuu is interested, but Kaiou wants the hero to stay away from Freeza. Then, Piccolo says that if they're wished alive, the dead friends want to come help fight. Kaiou yells at him, but Piccolo responds that there's no time and they have to start training right away. Kaiou will do this, but he turns it into a test, that shows that Piccolo and Tenshin are the two most able students of the Kaiou techniques. Gokuu keeps training, and kicks the gravity level up to 50 g. Kuririn is getting impatient, and Dende says they have 5 hours left to go. Vejita can't find the next village, but he does sense two people flying nearby. Kuririn senses Vejita, and is surprised at the guy's speed. He and Dende hide and mask their power. However, Zarbon is also closing in, and Vejita decides to take on Freeza's minion, instead. Zarbon complains that finding the village would be easier with the scouter. He sees Vejita. They greet each other, and Vejita says that Dodoria is dead, and Zarbon is next. Zarbon wants to know why Vejita doesn't team up, and Vejita answers that he has his own plans, with include taking the Dragon Balls. They bluster a bit, and then Vejita decides to demonstrate the true power of a true Saiya-jin. They fight for a while, and then Zarbon gets annoyed with Vejita's flicking his blast out of the way. A little ways a way, Kuririn is angry at the level of power that Vejita and (probably) Freeza's minion are demonstrating, which overwhelms his own. He decides to take the opportunity to reveal his own power and rush off to Saichourou's location. After some fighting, Vejita gloats, and Zarbon replies that he hasn't been fighting at full power. He wants a chance to change into his real form, and Vejita laughs at this. He then waits for the change over. From his beautiful, effeminate form, Zarbon changes into a monster uglier than Dodoria. They fight some more, and Vejita wonders what this new Zarbon really is. Before killing Vejita, Zarbon wants to add that Freeza is a changeling, too. Zarbon claims victory, and creates a new lake with Vejita's body. He decides that Vejita has drowned, and goes back to tell Freeza. Vejita then surfaces, complaining about being stronger than this. Meanwhile, the other minion has found the village that Vejita had destroyed, and returns to Freeza to report. At Freeza's ship, Freeza asks if Zarbon had found the village, and the fighter answers no, but that he had found and killed Vejita. Freeza is very impressed, but Zarbon doesn't have the corpse to prove it. The other minion rushes in to say that Vejita had grabbed the next Dragon Ball. But, Vejita hadn't had the Ball on him. Freeza tells Zarbon that he'd better hope that Vejita wasn't dead. The minion is told to summon the Ginyuu Combat team (it'll take them 5 days to reach Namek.) Zarbon wants to know why, and Freeza answers that he has a hunch that he'll need them. They talk about this (revolves around Vejita's strength as a Saiya-jin, and the appearance of the two kids.) Freeza thinks to himself that the last thing he needs is a Super Saiya-jin on the planet. Desperately trying to not die, Vejita crawls from the lake. Zarbon thinks about the Ginyuu team, then he sees the body. Vejita is still barely alive, and the alien carries the limp form back to Freeza's ship for questioning. One day passes, and Gokuu is still training. He's still on 50 g, which isn't good enough for facing Vejita. He takes a rest. The next morning, Kuririn wakes up Dende and they keep going. Dende gives him directions, and they quickly locate Saichourou's house atop a tall rock pillar. The lack of people outside concerns Dende, but then the door opens and Nail steps out. The two were expected, and are told to come inside. They have to hurry, because Saichourou is old and getting close to death. (Kuririn comments on Nail's looking like Piccolo.) They enter and levitate to the next floor. Saichourou is told that Dende has arrived, and Kuririn is impressed at the leader's size. The elder remarks on Kuririn's being an earthling, and thanks him for saving Dende. Kuririn says it was nothing
Episodes 54-64 Saichourou refuses to hand over the Dragon Ball to Kuririn, citing the many deaths of his people at the hands of Freeza's group. Dende mentions the Earth's Dragon Balls, which means that the Earth must have a Namek on it. Kuririn explains why he's on Namek, and the elder is afraid that the Saiya-jin is actually a Super Saiya-jin. He asks Kuririn to stand where he can put his hand on his head to read his thoughts from the past. Now, the elder decides to hand over the Ball, which may not do them any good, since the elder is getting near death himself. Kuririn accepts this, because if he has the Ball, it at least can not be abused. Then, the elder states that if Freeza comes here, Nail will have to fight to the death. So, the elder wants to give Kuririn some sleeping power to help him. Kuririn asks about this, and is force-fed more power than he's ever felt before (which is to be used for running away.) The man gives his thanks, but notices that the power is quickly gone (which is why it's called "sleeping power".) Kuririn asks if one more person can get this sleeping power, and given the ok. He's also told to keep the Dragon Ball. He tells Dende to stay here while he goes to get Gohan, and Dende tells him to take care. As he flies off, Kuririn is impressed with this new power. Back at the cave, Buruma tells Gohan to take a break from practicing to look at the Radar at the one Ball racing towards them. The child affirms that it's Kuririn, who must have gotten to the main elder. But, Freeza only has 5 of the Balls, and the last one is in the village that Vejita had trashed. Vejita isn't there now, and Buruma thinks that the Saiya-jin had failed to find that Ball. Gohan asks for the Radar, and goes to pick up the last Ball. In Freeza's ship, the minion and Zarbon are discussing Vejita, and the fact that the Saiya-jin won't fully heal for 30 minutes. Zarbon goes to talk to Freeza, and the minion expects Freeza to torture the location of the one Ball from Vejita. Then, Freeza stops faking it and kills the minion. Zarbon and Freeza investigate the noise, and think that their enemy has escaped the ship -- Zarbon is ordered to chase after him. Vejita discovers the Balls, and gloats. Gohan finds the blasted village, and views the wreckage for the first time. He curses Vejita, and looks for the Ball, which surprisingly isn't indoors. Zarbon angrily searches futilely for Vejita but can't believe that the guy is this fast. Freeza states that if Vejita has escaped, Zarbon will die. Inside, Freeza insults the aliens, counts the Balls, and figures that he only needs to get one more. But, how to get them outside? -- he decides to create a diversion. He yells that he's still inside, and blasts a new hole. Freeza thinks that Vejita has gotten the Balls and is flying off, as Vejita runs back to the Balls and throws them from the ship. Since they believe he's flown away, he swims off in the opposite direction. Freeza is furious at the loss of HIS Balls, and gives Zarbon one hour to get them back. Vejita surfaces near where the Balls have landed, and is pleased with his throwing control. As he's hiding the five, he's planning on getting the other two. Then, he senses a great power that isn't Zarbon's. Flying back, Kuririn is laughing madly, and telling Gohan to wait for him. Vejita wonders why the Earthling is on Namek, and why he has the Dragon Ball. Whatever the reason, Vejita plans on getting the Ball. Kuririn is happy with his speed, Vejita is happy at nearing his goal, and Zarbon is cursing the loss of his scouter. He sees something that isn't a Namek, or Vejita, but it has a Dragon Ball. Then he sees Vejita and chases after him. Vejita senses Zarbon behind him, and likes the set up. Kuririn lands, and Buruma screams about being surprised. Then she notices the Ball. She's impressed with the size, Kuririn says that he's spoken with the elder, and asks where Gohan is. She answers as Kuririn senses someone approaching that isn't Gohan. Kuririn is overwhelmed by the Saiya-jin's power. Vejita demands the Ball, in return he'll let them escape. Otherwise, he'll kill both Kuririn and the girl. Zarbon arrives. Buruma asks who this hunk is, and Kuririn answers that it's the ultimate evil. Zarbon thinks that Vejita is working with the humans, which amuses the Saiya-jin. Kuririn is surprised at seeing Zarbon becoming a monster. They fight, Zarbon expects Vejita to escape, and gets blinded. During the battle, Kuririn and Buruma decide to escape to somewhere safer, but Vejita stops them. Zarbon is now messed up, and pissed. Vejita tells Zarbon that the alien is near death, which the alien can't accept because he'd beaten the Saiya-jin before. Vejita explains that Saiya-jin get stronger if they are badly beaten up and can then heal. This explains a lot about Gokuu to Kuririn. This doesn't impress Zarbon, who attacks again. Zarbon dies, with a final wish that Freeza be beaten. Vejita asks if Kuririn wants really wants to fight him. Kuririn gives in, and Vejita happily flies off, keeping his promise to not kill them. Kuririn prays that Gohan has found the other Ball. Buruma wants to do some blame-laying, and they wait for Gohan to return, hoping that the boy doesn't meet up with Vejita along the way. Gohan and Vejita sense each other, and the boy tries to hide. Vejita shouts a warning to whoever is out there to reveal themselves or he'll blow up the area. Cursing, Gohan steps forward. The Saiya-jin recognizes Kakarot's kid, Gohan sees that other guy has a Dragon Ball. It was a present -- Gohan is afraid that Kuririn is dead, but Vejita says that's not the case. Vejita lands, asking what the toy is in Gohan's hand. The boy stammers that it's a watch. This amuses the Saiya-jin -- that Earth's science is so primitive. Vejita asks if Kakarot has come to the planet, which he hasn't. Then, Vejita spares Gohan because, including Gokuu, they're the last three Saiya-jin. He drops Gohan, and flies off. The boy is in pain, but happy that the other Ball hadn't been found. Buruma wants them to hide in the Capsule house, Kuririn wants to wait for his friend. Gohan arrives and everyone celebrates over the recovery of the #4 Ball. Swimming underwater, Vejita is already making his plans, but he can't find the last Ball. Suddenly, he realizes that the shit kid hadn't been holding a watch after all. In a rage, he rushes back to the cave, but his quarry have locked their power down at 0. He fumes over this, and the futility of not having all of the Balls. Gohan reassures them that they're safe, but Buruma complains about the loss of the house and the need for a toilet. Kuririn wants to take Gohan to Saichourou, to get extra power to face Vejita. Buruma later grouses about how the "lady" has been left on her own. Kuririn and Gohan fly low and slow, to avoid being detected, since they can't defeat Vejita on their own. Vejita drops his new Ball with the rest, and fumes over having let the damned brat get away with that other Ball. He considers his options. In 3-4 days, Freeza will get help, and a new batch of scouters. He decides to wait for the kids to reveal themselves. Two days pass, and Gokuu continues to train, having reached 100 g. Gokuu has finally reached the point where he can fire a Kamehame-ha that can't kill him. He's been battering himself to within seconds of death, and then eating a Senzu seed to recover. Being a Saiya-jin, when he heals, he gets even stronger. However, the last set of blasts almost finish him off. He has a little more than 2 days left, and by the end of it, he has only three 3 seeds. One more day passes, and Gokuu's feeling great so he decides to take a rest. After turning off the gravity control, he impresses himself, and is overwhelmed by: how light he feels; how strong he feels; and how much he's surpassed the 10 g Kaiou-ken techniques. In one more day, he'll be at Namek, so he bathes and goes to sleep. 4 days have passed, and Zarbon hasn't returned -- he's either dead or run away. However, the Ginyuu Team should be arriving soon with the scouters, and Vejita doesn't have yet seemed to have activated the 7 Balls. With the scouters, Vejita will be easy to find. Gohan hopes that Saichourou is close, and Kuririn hopes that the elder hasn't died yet. The runt decides to risk alerting Vejita, and picks up the pace -- they'll now arrive in 1 hour. Finally, Vejita knows where they are -- Kakarot's brat and the bald runt. He expects that they've left the Ball with the woman, but he takes one of his own just in case. Now, he's psyched. Kuririn tells Gohan to keep trying a bit more, and he hopes that Saichourou can give the boy the sleeping power. Between the two of them and Gokuu, they might have a chance. Vejita is right behind them. They've almost reached the mountain when they sense Vejita. The runt says he'll stall Vejita while the boy gets strong. Vejita appears, and Kuririn is impressed with his speed. Kuririn states that he can't beat Vejita, which the Saiya-jin replies is obvious. Vejita demands the #4 Ball back, then realizes that Gohan has escaped to the nearby mountain top. He thinks that the Ball is there, and rushes past Kuririn. Inside, Saichourou is impressed with an Earthling's having so much power. Then, Nail notices who's arrived outside. Kuririn and Nail try to face Vejita down, while Vejita wonders if Nail wants to die. Gohan is given the sleeping power, which alerts Vejita and makes Kuririn happy. Vejita thinks that Kakarot has made it to the planet and tells him to come out, but can't believe that's it's Gohan with this power. Saichourou tells Dende to tell the others that a massive power is approaching Namek -- they puzzle over this until Vejita recognizes the force as belonging to the Ginyuu Team. Freeza must have summoned all 5 of the team, and Vejita madly demands the last Dragon Ball, which is their only chance. Kuririn refuses, but the Saiya-jin tells them about the strength of the fabled mercenary team. If Vejita becomes immortal, they might be able to survive the upcoming battle. Nail comments on the approaching power, and lets them know that the Namek Balls can grant 3 wishes. So, Kuririn breaks down and they rush back to Buruma's hiding place (the runt curses a lot.) Saichourou wants Nail to leave also, adding that the elder will be ok on his own for a while. 5 Saiya-jin ships smash into Namek's surface, near Freeza's ship. Kuririn pops in long enough to grab the Ball and leave, with the group noticing that the enemy has arrived. Buruma is left alone, stuttering about seeing Vejita. The Team makes their customary appearance, with each member shouting out his name. Freeza recovers from the campy display, and tells them that he wants the Dragon Balls, and an alive Vejita. Ginyuu states that with their improved scouters, he can sense Vejita a long ways away, in the presence of two others. Freeza replies that those two can be killed. Jiisu hands over a box of scouters, the Team yells "Fight!! O---hhhh!!" and they fly off. Vejita senses them, and doesn't like the Team's greater speed. The Capsule Corp ship alarm goes off with 20 minutes left before reaching Namek. Gokuu puts on his new gi, hopes that the others are still alive, and has 10 minutes to worry about what's happening on the planet. Vejita and Ginyuu arrive at the site of the Balls at the same time (they exchange greetings, while the heroes curse the bad timing, and are impressed with the Team's abilities.) Kuririn dislikes having to admit that Vejita was right, and notices that Gurudo is the only one of the team that doesn't have overwhelming strength. Ginyuu wants Vejita to hand over the Ball, and Vejita hopes that his real power doesn't show up on the scouters and his throwing the Ball will take them by surprise. Doesn't work. They want the one Kuririn holds, and Vejita tells the runt to smash it. Kuririn yells "shit" as he brings his fist down. That doesn't work, either. Vejita swears other Gurudo's control over time. Now, it's the victims' turns. Ginyuu taunts the heroes, but Jiisu goes a little overboard and Ginyuu admonishes him. Kuririn asks if they'll have to fight, and Vejita replies that they can't run away. Ginyuu needs to take the 7 Balls to Freeza, so the rest of the team use jankenpon (scissors, paper, stone) to decide who gets to kill the two humans, and who gets to capture Vejita. The group grouses about this, but Ginyuu gets them to do a group cheer, and they start the janken (Gohan thinks they should try to run away at this point.) Rikuum is jubilant over getting Vejita, while Gurudo has to settle for the mere humans. Ginyuu then laughs as he flies towards Freeza. Gohan wants to blast Ginyuu, but Vejita tells him to not waste the energy. Vejita calls a war council, and tells the other two to control their power against Gurudo, and asks if Kakarot really hasn't come to Namek. Kuririn verifies this, but adds that Gokuu is on his way. Gohan is furious over not being able to resurrect his friend Piccolo. The Ginyuu team fighters saunter forward, wanting to play. Rikuum lets Gurudo go first, and the four-eyes complains about having to fight garbage. Vejita is annoyed, Kuririn wants Gohan to use the image training from when they were on the spaceship, and Gurudo is going to finish this quickly. Kuririn announces Ki o Kaihou, and the fight starts. Gurudo then stops time to avoid the blasts and return the attack. However, the humans have separated too far for him to take them out in one shot. He starts time again, and the heroes locate Gurudo for a punching assault. The 4-eyes stops time again and starts to panic (it'll take lots of energy to blast away with time stopped.) He runs and hides, planning to fire while unseen. But, he gets sensed and has to stop time again. He's really upset that the garbage is putting up this much of a fight, and can't understand how they located him without the use of the scouters. Commenting that the little humans have power levels at 10,000, the rest of the team come closer to watch the battle. They make fun of Gurudo, while Vejita fumes. Gurudo uses the only nearby tree to make a spear that he launches at Kuririn, daring the runt to escape in time. Neither human can move, no matter how hard they try. The tree almost reaches Kuririn when Vejita makes his move. With Gurudo decapitated, the control over time is broken and Kuririn escapes. Gurudo is annoyed with Vejita's breaking the rules of the game. But, Vejita replies that he never agreed to abide by those rules. Gurudo threatens the Saiya-jin a bit before being finished off. Kuririn wants to know why he was saved, and Gohan thanks Vejita, but the bad guy says he did it only to even the odds against the remainder of the Ginyuu team. The rest of the team complains about this unsporting behavior, and the fact their Special Fighting Pose (tm) can't be performed by only four people. Ginyuu will have to develop a new pose. Jiisu and Baata use janken to decide who gets to fight the humans next, while Rikuum claims Vejita. Kuririn and Vejita curse this silliness. Then, Rikuum wants to take on all three of them, which angers Jiisu (who wants to have a shot at the fun of killing them.) Rikuum performs his introductory poses, followed by Vejita's powering up to almost 20,000. There's a bit of fighting, and it looks like Vejita has won. Gohan and Kuririn are justifiably impressed. But, they sense that Rikuum is still alive. The Ginyuu fighter strolls out of the smoke (H --- i!) with virtually no damage. (But, there's a stench and lots of dust, which bothers Jiisu and Baata.) The "Rikuum Kick" sends Vejita flying. There's some fighting, that makes Rikuum happy with "Vejita-chan." In the resulting chase, Rikuum announces a "speed-up," before smashing Vejita into the lake. After burying Vejita head first in the ground, Rikuum asks if he's all right, hoping that death hasn't cut into his fun. But, Vejita blasts him again. With almost no hair left, Rikuum is really starting to enjoy himself. Rikuum taunts the Saiya-jin, who curses the Ginyuu fighter as being a monster. Kuririn tells Gohan to get ready to attack, to help Vejita and to give themselves better odds. Meanwhile, the Capsule Corp. ship announces planetfall on Namek in two minutes.
Episodes 64-72 Rikuum is ready to finish off Vejita, and Kuririn tells Gohan to help save the Saiya-jin now. The "Rikuum Eraser Gun" almost kills Vejita before it blows out Rikuum's nose. Vejita is mad at the interference. Kuririn is impressed, and Rikuum is just starting to have fun. He asks his friends if it's ok to take out the runts. They shrug, and demand chocolate parfaits in return. Kuririn is taken out fast, which annoys the Team fighter. Saichourou can see a ways into the future, so he has sent Nail on an errand that he's not happy with. Gohan takes a beating. Freeza congratulates Ginyuu on supplying the Balls, and he's about to fulfill his dream by activating them. Gohan calls for his father. Ginyuu asks Freeza whether the alien is an immortal, but it doesn't seem to have happened. Then Freeza remembers what one elder told him about not being able to use the Balls to make the wish. He tries to figure out if there's a special place, or summoning word that he needs to use, then realizes that there's one Namek elder that hasn't been killed yet. Telling Ginyuu to stay and watch the Balls, Freeza rushes off to find Saichourou. Rikuum and Gohan keep fighting, while the boy reminds himself of whose child he is. Rikuum asks what planet the boy is from, then Gohan says he isn't going to lose. But, he's dropped and his power is zeroed. Kuririn curses his friend's defeat, Vejita derides the boy, Rikuum gloats, and Gokuu finally makes planet-fall. The fighter wonders where this ship came from, Kuririn is happy, the ship announces the arrival on Namek, and Gokuu steps out. Our hero quickly senses the locations of his friends and several really strong people -- but, the two Earthlings are nearly dead. Time to use his 100 g techniques. He arrives, people greet him, and he states that he has some Senzu seeds. Gohan gets one, then Kuririn. Rikuum wants to know who's interfering with his game, Jiisu and Baata wonder about the fast guy with the garbage-level power rating that's reanimating the corpses. Gohan briefs Gokuu on why Vejita is so damaged. The hero tells them that he's gotten stronger on the trip over, then gives the last seed to Vejita (which surprises Kuririn who wants to know how they're going to heal themselves after fighting the Ginyuu team.) But, Gokuu announces that he's going to handle this fight by himself. Rikuum's not impressed. The Earthling measures in at only 5000. Vejita's trying to figure out what Gokuu is up to, then has a bad feeling about this. Rikuum thinks that he's going to win, Gokuu says that he himself will (Rikuum can't handle this.) Vejita realizes that Kakarot has become a super Saiya-jin (last one was 1000 years ago.) The Ginyuu man yells out "Rikuum Macho Attack" -- and misses. The ones with the scouters can't find Gokuu right away. Gokuu gives them a choice -- the Ginyuu team can leave the planet, or they can get lots of pain. But they think he only has speed and no power. Rikuum is about to destroy them all, with the "Rikuum Ultra Fighting..." The attack takes to long to announce, and Gokuu wins with one blow. No one can believe that this has happened, and Vejita chokes the most on the idea that he's looking at a Super Saiya-jin. Gokuu gives the other team members another chance to leave the planet. Jiisu and Baata are amused, but Kuririn wonders why Gokuu doesn't want to fight them. The fighters have to protect their rep, so they go into their attack pose, and move out. Vejita knows that Kakarot is going to win. The combatants banter and fight a bit. Gokuu's powerful ki-ai blows the team members backwards, putting Gohan and Kuririn in awe of him. Everyone considers a situation in which Gokuu can beat up people that could trash Vejita. Baata tells Jiisu to use his Crusher Ball to distract the human, giving Baata an opening against him. But, Gokuu doesn't move. He deflects the Ball, and the enemies curse. [The one-page cover has Buruma complaining about having been forgotten, while the others have all the fun.] Jiisu warns Baata to look backwards. But, they still think Gokuu is simply fast. Jiisu says that this is a bad dream. Gokuu is asked who he is, ("I'm an Earth-bred Saiya-jin") but Saiya-jin aren't this fast. Then, Baata states that speed isn't going to help Gokuu anymore, and is going to kill him. Bata's flailing about pissing off Jiisu, who joins in. It's now time for Gokuu to show that he has more than simple speed. After, Gokuu tells Jiisu that it's pointless to fight him, and that Ginyuu should take their fallen comrades and leave the planet. Jiisu freaks over the fact that the Ginyuu team has been so easily beaten, and runs to notify the team leader. At the same time, Vejita is wondering why Kakarot is taking so long to kill the bad guys. Kuririn is so surprised at the speed and power that he asks if this is really Gokuu. As Vejita comes in and finishes off Baata and Rikuum, Gokuu asks why he's doing this. They were helpless, but Vejita tells him that this is the smart thing to do, especially since one escaped. Gokuu has to be a perfect Saiya-jin to face the frightening power of Freeza. Gokuu repeats "Super Saiya-jin?" They think about this as Freeza finds the correct mountain. The group talks about Freeza's strength and their chances of beating him. Freeza does have the Balls, but he hasn't been able to call Shenlon yet. Vejita wants to know more about this, and Kuririn tells him that you can tell if Shenlon has appeared when night covers the planet. Gokuu suddenly realizes that Freeza doesn't know the proper word for summoning the dragon. Vejita thinks about this, and Gokuu reminds them to bring their dead friends back to life. Jiisu tells Ginyuu what happened. Ginyuu can't handle this, but he refuses to let Freeza in on the secret. Instead, he wants to resolve this himself, and tells Jiisu to bury the Balls (since the Earthlings don't have scouters that would show where the things are located.) Then, they get into their Special Fighting pose. This doesn't work anymore, and it makes him very angry. The heroes argue over what to do with the Dragon Balls, as Vejita claims that the odds would be better if he were made immortal. Suddenly, Vejita asks where Freeza is, Gokuu points off in one direction, and Kuririn panics as he realizes that this is where Saichourou lives. Freeza must be asking for the secret to the Balls. Gohan hopes that Saichourou isn't killed, because that would cancel out the Balls. Then, Ginyuu arrives, and Jiisu points out the troublemakers. They discuss each other (Gokuu still registers at only 5000, but Ginyuu's enhanced scouter can tell that the human is really 60,000.) Jiisu knows that no Saiya-jin is that strong. Ginyuu looks forward to a good fight. Gokuu tells Kuririn and Gohan to take the radar and look for the Balls, and he tells Vejita to attack Jiisu. Everyone says that they understand. Gokuu is told to not let himself be killed, and they start their plan. As it's about to be one-on-one, Vejita yells out "Later!" and runs off. After a bit of fighting, Gokuu comments on the pain and curses Vejita. Ginyuu and Gohan banter a bit. Vejita thinks to himself that he'd rather track down the Balls and make his wish than fight (the other two are evenly matched.) Jiisu roots for his leader-monster. After a little more fighting, Ginyuu is surprised at Gokuu's speed. Then, Jiisu's Crusher Ball gives Ginyuu a chance to grab his enemy (same trap that Baata had tried to use.) Gokuu is about to switch on the Kaiou techniques, when the leader lets him go. He explains that he knows that Gokuu has just been playing around, and he wants to see Gokuu's REAL power. The hero decides to do it, while the leader expects expects it to cap off at 85,000. At, 180,000, Ginyuu is stunned. Jiisu is also stunned, since the leader is only 120,000. Finally, they realize that the enemy is a Super Saiya-jin, which is what Vejita had called him. The team thinks about this, and Gokuu gives them another chance to leave the planet alive. But, Ginyuu is about to use HIS special talent. Freeza arrives at the mountain, realizing that there are 3 people there. Nail warns Saichourou, who's giving the sleeping power to Dende. Dende is told to help the Earthlings, and he tells the elder to not die. The elder hopes not to. Freeza arrives, Nail asks what he wants, the alien demands the secret to the Balls. Freeza is told that if the elder dies, the Balls stop working. The alien blows open the house to see this elder, and wants the secret. The elder tells Nail to fight the alien to give the humans time to summon Shenlon. Freeza looks forward to the fight; however, they need a place to fight that won't endanger the elder. Saichourou apologizes to Nail, by himself, about having to sacrifice such a good Namek. Eventually, Freeza claims that they've reached a good place. Nail powers up. A power level of 45,000 is good for a Namek, but Freeza claims that he himself is 530,000. But, to make things more fun, Freeza promises to only use his left arm. Nail's attack proves that the Namek is only 45,000. After ripping off the Namek's arm, Freeza apologizes for being rude. But, Nail stands up again, showing the desire to die. Nail regenerates the arm, proving that his indeed a Namek. Gokuu wants to know what Ginyuu meant, and the leader tells Jiisu to hold his scouter. He hurts himself before making plans on the Super Saiya-jin's body. Ginyuu makes the switch, and is now happy at his new lodgings. Gokuu, in Ginyuu's body, yells in pain. The leader lets everyone know what happened, and then gets his scouter from Jiisu. It's now time to return to Freeza. Gokuu follows behind, hoping to fix things. At least he can still fly. Kuririn and Gohan arrive at Buruma's cave, demanding the Radar. Buruma wakes up, then demands to know what's going on. The runt says that there's no time, but this doesn't change anything. However, Gohan grabs the Radar and points out where they need to go. They leave, with Buruma still demanding to know what's happening. Gohan takes the time to tell her that his father has arrived. This makes Buruma compare Yamcha to Gokuu. At some point, Vejita reaches the ship, and Freeza isn't around. He takes the time to change clothes, hoping that the Earthlings don't find him, or the Balls, first. He also wonders about the secret medicine that Kakarot used to heal himself. He senses the Earthlings approaching, and asks why they came after him so fast. He hides his power before the two show up and grab the Balls. This makes Vejita happy, because he'll be able to watch them summon Shenlon, and then he can make his move. Kuririn chants "Ide yo, Shenlon!!!! Soshite negai o kanaetamae!!!!" (Shenlon appear!!!! So you can grant our wish!!!!) Nothing happens. They wonder about this until sensing the approach of Jiisu and Ginyuu. Obviously, Gokuu must have been defeated, so they hide. But Gokuu lands, in the presence of Jiisu. (The next cover page has Ginyuu riding with Gohan on Kintoen. "Yahoo --- I'm really Son Gokuu, even though my face is strange.") Ginyuu and Jiisu can't sense anyone, but the Balls are out in the open. Then, Kuririn calls out, and steps forward. The leader asks how the runt had found the Balls, which amuses Kuririn. He's asked if he'd made the wish, but Kuririn says that it didn't work. Ginyuu is happier. Kuririn remarks on Gokuu's strange behavior, and the fact that the guy is wearing a scouter. The hero moves forward to explain, when Gohan yells out that this really isn't Gokuu. The two don't know what's happening, but Gokuu is obviously a fake. Now, the leader wants to use the power of his new body, and he and Jiisu strike a modified fighting pose, announcing who they are. Surprises everyone. Ginyuu now wants to fight at 180,000. Gokuu struggles along, hoping that Gohan and Kuririn haven't died, and cursing his body. Ginyuu laughs madly about his great power, but Jiisu tells him that the old body is about to arrive. Gokuu finds them still alive. He tries to explain what happened, and tells them that they can defeat his body. This amuses Ginyuu, with his 180,000 power level. However, Ginyuu doesn't know how to use the power with the Kaiou techniques. So, Ginyuu tries powering up -- but he can't get above 23,000. He can't believe this, but Kuririn can. Jiisu is told to join the fight, as Vejita says that he's the first one Jiisu gets to face. Gokuu says, "Vejita..."
Episodes 72-81 Ginyuu is getting trashed, and ridiculed, by Gohan and Kuririn. He just can't understand why he can't use this body's full power. Meanwhile, Jiisu is trying to figure out how Vejita can fight without a scouter. They banter a bit, then the Saiya-jin suggests a quick check of his power level. It's so far out of line that Jiisu thinks his scouter is malfunctioning. Vejita claims to be very close to becoming a Super Saiya-jin. Then he kills Jiisu, which bothers Gokuu. But, this is just the Saiya-jin way, and Vejita now turns his attention to Ginyuu. (He's been waiting a LONG time to do this to Gokuu's body.) Gokuu yells out that enough's enough, but Vejita is going to wrap things up just as Ginyuu shouts out "Change!!!!!" Gokuu sees this as his one chance, and he intercepts the blast. Ginyuu is very pissed, the hero is happier to have his body back. Vejita is confused as to what happened, and Gohan figures out that his father is really his father again. Vejita still isn't sure if Ginyuu is really Ginyuu, while Ginyuu and Gokuu both know that Gokuu can't interfere anymore. So, the team leader tries to take over Vejita's body yet again. However, a Namekian frog (this used to be a place with some lakes,) chooses that moment to hop by. Afterwards, the group hopes that Gokuu is ok, but Vejita really had done a number on him. The Saiya-jin asks where Ginyuu is, and is told to leave the frog alone. (Vejita likes this arrangement, anyway. NOTE: Presumably, Ginyuu can only change bodies by shouting out the key word, which he can't do any more.) Gokuu doesn't have any other Senzu seeds, and Vejita threatens to take advantage of the situation to finish them off. But, Gokuu knows that it's ok, and Vejita replies that he needs them for the Dragon Balls, and to help handle Freeza. He takes them to Freeza's ship, planning to kill them after he becomes a Super Saiya-jin. Gokuu is put in the medical machine to heal, and Gokuu likes the feeling it gives him. Then, Vejita tells the other two that they need new combat uniforms. Kuririn and Gohan don't like the idea of looking like the bad guys, since it gives them a bad image. They're given the full outfits, which are a one-size fits all, for kids set. The clothes are very strong, but do stretch to fit the wearer. They like the suits, and Vejita tells them that Gokuu will heal completely in 40 to 50 minutes. Kuririn decides to go check up on Saichourou, and tells Gohan to stay behind. Freeza has almost killed Nail, without using his right arm. He asks Nail to tell him the secret of the Dragon Balls, but Nail just futilely attacks him again. Freeza gets in the last punch, and threatens to make the next a killing blow. Then, Nail tells the alien that he's wasting his time, since Dende is the one that knows how to summon Shenlon. Realizing that he's been tricked, Freeza rushes off, hoping that he'll get to the Balls in time. It's HIS wish that needs to be made. Meanwhile, Dende just has a little farther to go. Saichourou telepaths for the little Namek to hurry, since Nail is out of the race. Kuririn senses Dende, and they meet up. Kuririn tells him that the Dragon Balls don't work, and Dende replies that he knows -- the summoning has to been spoken in Namek. Makes sense to Kuririn. But, he wishes that he'd been told that sooner, however, Vejita was still a threat to them at that time. They hurry, since Freeza's presence is cutting Saichourou's life shorter. Gohan is wondering what's taking Kuririn so long to return (its been two hours.) Then, he flies to meet the approaching power sources. One disappears, leaving the other, which he identifies as Dende. They exchange greetings, then sneak into the camp to take the Balls while Vejita continues to sleep. However, as they find a safe place to summon Shenlon, they sense an incredible power coming in fast. It has to be Freeza, so Dende is told to call Shenlon NOW. ("Takkarato Popporunga Pupirittoparo.") There's a light, then the sky turns black, just as it does for Earth's Dragon Balls. Freeza is confused, Kaiou is happy, and Kuririn and Gohan are impressed by Shenlon's size. Dende says that this creature was formed from Saichourou's dream, and it's the first time he's seen it, too. Shenlon asks for the three wishes. Kuririn hadn't known about that part before. They're happy, but Dende tells them to hurry up. The first request is to bring everyone back killed by the Saiya-jin. Shenlon says he can't do that -- he can only revive one person at a time, not whole groups. No one had expected this, and Kaiou-sama relays the message to the others. Piccolo begs to talk to Gohan, and is instructed to grab Kaiou's shoulder. At the same time, Shenlon wants to know what the first wish is going to be, Kuririn and Gohan are panicking, and Dende is telling them that Freeza is getting closer. Piccolo calls out, and the two humans look around to find him. The demon explains what's happening (Kaiou is annoyed that Piccolo left off the "-sama" part of his name,) and tells them that the first wish should be to resurrect Piccolo. That way, Kami-sama would be brought back, and the Earth Dragon Balls would function again. The second wish is to bring Piccolo to Namek -- he's almost a match for Freeza, and he wants to avenge his people. The third wish is left for later, but it should be fun. Kuririn and Gohan discuss this, and Dende is told what to do. Still sleeping, Vejita senses Freeza's approach and wakes up. However, it's night already, and he sees this big monster. Knowing that he's been tricked, Vejita rushes to the dragon, with Freeza close behind. On Kaiou's planet, Piccolo is now alive again. So is Kami-sama (the god and Mr. Popo are both very happy.) Dende is told to make the second wish very fast. He does, but no one had told him to name a SPECIFIC place on Namek. Then, Vejita shows up, about to tear everyone apart. So, Gohan states that there's one wish left. This mollifies the Saiya-jin, and he demands to be made immortal. Freeza is now close enough to see Shenlon, and he's pissed at being cheated, too. There's an argument between the Earthlings as to whether they should bow to Vejita's demand. At this point, Piccolo appears on Namek, and he spends a little time getting used to this idea. He then locates Freeza and Gohan, and rushes to save his friends (well, Piccolo doesn't have friends, per se.) Back at the dragon, Shenlon is asking for the third wish, Vejita is still making the same demand, and Freeza's power is so close that Kuririn tells Dende to go ahead and do it (the runt curses a lot, too.) Vejita is overwhelmed by the possibilities that lay ahead of him. However, as Dende starts out, Saichourou dies and Shenlon disappears. Vejita is so enraged, that he's about to kill them all. And then Freeza arrives. The alien talks about the loss of his dream to become immortal, and the defeat of his Ginyuu team. He'll eradicate them all, but he wants to start with Vejita, so the others get out of the way. Freeza powers up, stunning them with his strength. Piccolo gets sidetracked when he senses a weak power. Nail is the first Namek he's ever seen. Nail is happy at seeing an Earthling, because this means that the other two succeeded in making their wishes. Piccolo states that he's here to save those two, and needs to be briefed quickly. Nail gives Piccolo a little present for Freeza (seems that Namek fighters can be absorbed into the bodies of other Namek fighters.) This gives him a MAJOR power rush, and he claims that he can defeat anyone now. He flies off, laughing madly. Freeza's new power level frightens Kuririn and Gohan, and the alien claims that he can easily defeat three little flies like them. But, Vejita wants to face Freeza by himself, explaining that this way he'll become a Super Saiya-jin. That old story amuses Freeza, who then attacks. Vejita's power climbs until Freeza's scouter explodes. Gohan and Kuririn are stunned at both fighters' power, but Vejita is the one breathing hard. Then, the Saiya-jin demands that Freeza take on his true form and fight at full power. (This is what Zarbon had talked about.) They're going to die anyway, so why not? The other two wonder what Vejita is talking about. Vejita states that it's a form of camouflage, masking the alien's true power. As small talk, Freeza reveals that he did indeed destroy Vejita's planet, and killed his father. Fine by Vejita, means that he's the new king of his race. Freeza flexes, destroying the combat jacket, to Kuririn's amazement. But, Vejita isn't impressed, until the actual change-over starts. This new monster impresses everyone. The second-stage Freeza decides to reveal a bit of his force, claiming to have a level well over 1,000,000. They escape the blast with some scratches, and the loss of one mountain. Then, it's Kuririn's time to die, and the others can't believe Freeza's speed. However, Dende was the real target, and Freeza apologizes for missing. Kuririn is flung off, and the alien taunts Gohan's attempts to save his friend. After Gohan thrashes Freeza a bit, Vejita frets over the chance that the boy is also close to becoming a Super Saiya-jin. But it's ok -- Dende has saved Kuririn (the Namek can heal people,) and not ok -- Freeza isn't dead. The alien hasn't even started warming up. And, Piccolo rushes along, sensing Freeza's energy and telling Gohan that he's coming. Freeza demonstrates that he's mastered power control, too. Vejita yells for the stupid kid to escape, but it's too late. So, Vejita attacks, believing that he can win. But, Freeza isn't going to play with him until he's done with the kid. This time, the fight goes the other way. Gohan can't follow the other's moves, and has to be told where to look. Finally, Freeza is going to kill Gohan by squashing his head. The alien asks if Vejita is coming to save the boy, and the Saiya-jin can't bring himself to do it. Then, Gohan dies and Gokuu feels this and curses his inability to save his son. But, they all sense a new power level -- Kuririn has been restored, and he lops off Freeza's tail. Freeza wonders how this is possible, and the runt fires off a few more Kiensans (cutting energy balls.) Gokuu asks where his friend got this extra power (it's from Saichourou, having been awoken by Dende.) Then, Freeza catches up, and is going to exact revenge for the loss of his tail. Kuririn still isn't strong enough, and has to resort to Taiyou-ken to blind Freeza and get enough time to escape. Kuririn yells for the Saiya-jin to attack now, but Vejita is too busy watching Dende fixing Gohan's broken neck. Vejita would rather ask about the Namek's abilities, and Kuririn is happy to see the boy reenter the fight. Being a Saiya-jin, Gohan is stronger and faster, now that he's come back from near-death (he thanks Dende.) This proves to Vejita that Gohan is one of his race. This is when Piccolo appears, and he's the strongest of the group. They tell each other what has happened, and Vejita and Piccolo promise to continue their battle after this one is over. Freeza is annoyed that he missed killing one of the Namek. Gokuu is trying to figure out who has the new, greater power, and thinks that it's not Piccolo, but rather, it's Gohan. Piccolo announces that he's going to fight Freeza on his own, and Dende recognizes Nail's presence in the strange Namek. Piccolo tells Dende to get to safety, and the little Namek wonders how the other knows his name. They talk to themselves about Piccolo, Freeza calls the Namek an insect, and Piccolo attacks. The battle is starting to get serious, and Freeza has his first taste of mild pain.
Episodes 81-89 Kuririn and Gohan are happy with Piccolo's performance, but Vejita is upset at being outpowered by someone that he'd once killed. The two Earthlings expect to not die after all. But, Freeza then gets in a few punches, and Kuririn now sees the alien's real spirit. They banter a bit, and Vejita realizes that he can't beat this monster. Piccolo throws off his heavy clothes, stretches, and says that he's going to fight for real, too. This surprises Freeza (who thought that this HAD been for real, and he didn't know that Namek were this good.) Kuririn can't believe that Piccolo had been fighting while wearing the heavy mantle and cloak. However, Freeza states that he hasn't been fighting seriously, himself. He has two more forms he can take, and he takes a couple of pages to switch to the next step up. The Third-stage Freeza overwhelms everyone with his power level. They talk about this, and the fact that Piccolo has already taken some damage. Gokuu curses the situation, and the fact that Freeza is so strong. Freeza teases Piccolo, and then attacks. Piccolo tries running away to get some distance, but Freeza appears in front of him ("Well, well. Long time, no see.") With just his ki-ai, Freeza starts doing real damage, and Piccolo is amazed at the speed. Freeza does his Hokuto no Ken impression, as the others futilely watch on. When Kuririn tries to help, Vejita stops the runt and demands that Kuririn half-kill him. When Dende heals him, Vejita hopes to become a Super Saiya-jin. Gohan attacks Freeza at full power, and Kuririn cheers him on. But, it's not quite enough. Piccolo saves the boy from his own blast, and Gohan thanks him. Freeza thinks that this had been a bit close, then realizes that the boy is a Saiya-jin. However, the only Saiya-jin since their planet was destroyed about 30 years ago, are Vejita, Radits, and Nappa. Piccolo is pleased with Gohan's new strength, which, unfortunately, has been completely depleted. Freeza decides that the only one that could have had a Saiya-jin child is Radits. This means that only Vejita and the boy remain as threats to him. He discounts the possibility of them becoming Super Saiya-jin. Meanwhile, Vejita is explaining that since he's a Saiya-jin, if he gets half-killed, and then healed, he'll become even stronger. So, he wants Kuririn to attack him. He promises to not kill Kuririn in revenge. Then, Freeza announces that he's going to do everyone a big service and will take on his true shape and achieve his ultimate power level. The thought of Freeza as an ugly, drooling monster causes Kuririn to ignore the possibility that Vejita will be a problem later, and blasts him in the chest. Vejita is pleased with the results, and expects now to become a Super Saiya-jin. Gohan wonders why Kuririn fired, and Piccolo says that they'd better move back. Gohan takes Piccolo to safety ("Piccolo-san, are you ok?" "I'm just great.") and is going to get Dende to heal the Namek. But. Vejita can't understand why Dende won't heal him (something about the Saiya-jin having killed an entire village of Namekians.) Dende leaves to save Piccolo, and Vejita collapses to die. Kuririn tells Gohan about why he shot Vejita, as Dende flies off leaving Vejita limp on the ground. Piccolo asks if Dende can really heal him. One island over, Freeza sees Dende working on Piccolo. Recovered, Piccolo asks if he can heal people too, but is told no, that he's a fighter, not a healer. Kuririn and Piccolo try to convince Dende to overcome his hatred, and heal Vejita. Then, the huge release of energy signals Freeza's final change-over. The group talks about Freeza's new power, which is so great it could destroy the planet. Gohan tells Dende to heal Vejita now. But, instead of thanking him, Vejita kicks Dende around for not reviving him sooner. The Saiya-jin is now convinced that he's broken the barrier. Kuririn has trouble accepting that the cute little lizard boy is the Fourth-stage Freeza, but the outer appearance masks so much power that Piccolo is sorry at having wasted the Dragon Ball wishes to be brought back to life. The first finger blast kills Dende, to prevent anyone else from being healed. In the healing tank, Gokuu is wondering who just died, and curses Freeza's strength. Freeza teleports, and the group attacks. He teleports again, and Vejita tells them to look backwards. Gohan is singled out for a killing blast, and Vejita has to save the boy (insulting him at the same time.) Piccolo wonders how the Saiya-jin got so fast so quickly. Gohan thanks him, but Vejita says he did it just to have an audience. Piccolo asks if Vejita thinks he can really beat Freeza, the answer is "yes." Freeza asks about this, and Vejita claims to be a Super Saiya-jin. Freeza laughs at the good joke. Piccolo repeats this, and Vejita attacks, saying that Kakarot won't be the next one. However, during the fight, Freeza warps out and Vejita can't follow him. This means that Vejita isn't an actual Super Saiya-jin. Mere speed isn't going to defeat Freeza. In a rage, Vejita says that he is too a Super Saiya-jin, and fires off a new blast. Piccolo tells Vejita to not destroy the planet. Freeza kicks the blast away, and everyone is stunned. Vejita loses control and cries in frustration. Freeza starts pounding on the helpless Saiya-jin, asking if anyone else wants to try to save him. Gokuu thinks about how close Vejita had gotten, and how strong Freeza is. Then, the medical tank announces that he's fully healed. The extra strength, the nice breeze, and the danger in the air all feel good to him. Freeza and company are nearby. Freeza discards Vejita, annoyed at how fast the fun has come to an end. Before Freeza can deliver the killing blow, Gokuu arrives, chatting up his friends. They can't believe that this is really Gokuu. The hero stops Freeza, who wonders where this garbage has come from. Vejita calls him "Kakarot," meaning that the guy is a Saiya-jin. There was one guy, on planet Vejita that looked like this when Freeza fought him (Gokuu's father, Bardock.) Vejita realizes that this isn't merely Kakarot, but that Gokuu is now a Super Saiya-jin. Freeza thinks about the possibility of another Saiya-jin in existence. He attacks, but Gokuu drops him. So, Freeza fires his finger blasts, and Kuririn yells out a warning. But, Gokuu deflects them. Freeza is surprised, and Vejita tells them the reason that this is possible (and that Freeza will now be defeated.) On the other hand, Freeza is tired of hearing the joke about Super Saiya-jin, and uses his finger blast to kill Vejita. Gokuu asks why Freeza attacked a helpless person, and Vejita coughs out that Gokuu has to make the last step. Gokuu doesn't understand this talk, and Vejita explains that Gokuu's parents came from planet Vejita, which Freeza had destroyed. With his dying breath, Vejita begs Kakarot to become a Super Saiya-jin and defeat Freeza. Gokuu blows out a grave, says a brief eulogy (basically, he respected the guy, but disliked how he acted,) and buries him. Now, Gokuu plans revenge for his planet. Piccolo tells tells Gohan and Kuririn to move farther back, and Gohan implores his father to not die. The fight is brief, and Gokuu burns his hands on the blast that pushes him deep into a mountain. On the other world, Yamcha asks what's happening, and Kaiou-sama tells them that Vejita has died. However, the good news is that Gokuu's ace card may allow him to win. Freeza can see how Ginyuu had been defeated. They banter a bit. Then fight a bit. Freeza thinks that this won't take long, and Gokuu stays at the bottom of the lake, thinking. The hero wants to overcome the alien's speed advantage. His friends worry about this. Then, Gokuu makes a pair of small Kamehame-ha's, and guides them in the water. Freeza is wondering what's taking so long. Finally, the first 'ha' is sent up, and Freeza mistakes it for Gokuu. The second one is launched, and it's not Gokuu either. Freeza is then blindsided, through a couple of hills. Didn't affect the alien much, though. He is very excited at having this kind of fight, and he wonders how he's going to cook Gokuu. (Playing on the fact that the Saiya-jin all have foods for names.) There's a little more bantering, then Freeza launches some rocks to distract the hero long enough to blast him. Gokuu can't move, Freeza tells him to die, and he hits the planet. The others realize that Freeza had just been playing around until now. Piccolo tells them to not worry, because Gokuu hasn't been fighting for real, either. Kuririn asks how he knows, and Piccolo tells him to look backwards. The hero mentions that the blast was a bit powerful, and he returns to face Freeza. They tell each other that both of them are just warming up. Back on Earth, Chi Chi is grousing about Gohan not studying, and is instead out playing around on some strange planet with Gokuu. Her father mentions that maybe they're on the ship on the way back home. Freeza suggests that he and Gokuu find a nice little island for some hand-to-hand combat. Gokuu thanks him for the service, and the alien offers a bigger service -- to fight without using either hand. The hero is impressed, stretches out a bit, and is told to attack any way he likes (i.e. -- Freeza is taking a handicap to make the fight more even.) Things go smoothly for both sides until Gokuu bites Freeza's tail (he hates the taste) and the alien punches him in return. Gokuu mentions this, and Freeza says that the service has ended. They flatter each other, talk about the 'easy' fight with Ginyuu, and Freeza states that he's only been using 50% of his max power. Gokuu thinks he's joking. The others are wondering what's going on at the distant island, and are getting worried. Freeza starts concentrating, and Gokuu realizes that the alien isn't bluffing about his power. Gokuu takes a battering, and Freeza is impressed that the guy isn't dead yet. Everyone else is getting concerning with Freeza's strength, Yamcha asks Kaiou if Gokuu is still wearing the heavy training clothes (he's not, which means that Gokuu doesn't have that as an excuse for getting beaten up.) But, Tenshinhan tells them to not worry, because Gokuu can use the 10g Kaiou techniques. Kaiou-sama cuts their jubilation short, because that's what Gokuu is doing already. Freeza uses a slashing energy attack that surprises Gokuu with its destructive force against the planet. The alien had used this to destroy planet Vejita, and Gokuu considers defeat. Kuririn and Piccolo try to figure out what Gokuu is thinking. On the other world, the dead guys are starting to panic, too. Looks like Freeza is going to win. Gokuu decides to take the risk to his body and step up to 20g Kaiou techniques. He pounds on Freeza a bit, and then unleashes a Kamehame-ha. Freeza is now angry, and in a little pain. Gokuu is a little stunned.
Episodes 89-102 Gokuu realizes that Freeza had only been fighting at half-strength. Buruma wonders about the earthquakes, and asks what Gohan and company are doing. Kuririn talks about the strength of the last Kamehame-ha, and Freeza is surprised that things had gotten so dangerous. He's pissed, and attacks again. Freeza wonders why Gokuu isn't fighting so hard now, and prepares to kill him. Gohan wants to help his father, but Piccolo thinks that the guy is up to something (he is -- Gokuu is creating a huge Genki Dama.) The energy here is much greater, so the Genki Dama created on Namek will be huge. Piccolo is amused, since this isn't a technique that Kaiou taught him. However, Freeza won't wait around long enough to be hit by it. Freeza wonders why Gokuu is just standing there, and the others are stunned at how big the sphere has gotten. Freeza is getting impatient, and Gokuu just needs a little more time. Piccolo asks if this is really a big Dama. The one on Earth was tiny, this one is 50-meters across. Things drag on, and Freeza finally loses his patience and attacks. Piccolo tells the other two to get ready, and Freeza asks what Gokuu is trying to do. Piccolo gives the two runts some of his power. Freeza wants to know why Gokuu has stopped fighting, and tries to anger him with some jive. Then, he looks up and realizes what the Saiya-jin had been working on. Piccolo tells the two to stay in place, as he goes to help Gokuu. Freeza is stunned at the energy in the Ball. Gokuu is frustrated at not being able to use the Ball in time, and Freeza decides to cook Gokuu. But, before he can deliver the killing shot, Freeza gets kicked in the head by Piccolo. Piccolo tells Gokuu to finish the Genki Dama, and Freeza is pissed with the Namek. Piccolo wants it fired now, but it isn't ready yet. The alien is annoyed with their just standing around and talking, but he gets blindsided by the blasts from the other two humans (Piccolo is pleased with them.) This is enough to make Freeza try to destroy the planet. However, Gokuu has completed the Genki Dama, and moves it in for the kill. Knowing that he's screwed up, Freeza tries to protect himself. The Dama explodes and takes out a huge section of the ocean. Kaiou-sama is convinced that Freeza has been destroyed, and starts celebrating. Kuririn and Gohan are safe, but they can't find Gokuu and Piccolo. Those two do surface (Piccolo has saved his one-time mortal enemy.) There's much rejoicing, and talk of going back home, when Kuririn remembers about Buruma. They joke around, and Piccolo comments on the destruction of the planet, and Saichourou's death (Kuririn wants to know how Piccolo knows about the elder.) Then, the runt sees Freeza. Gohan yells out Piccolo's name when the Namek gets shot in the chest. Freeza bitches about people who think that he's dead, because if anyone's going to do the killing, it's going to be him. Gokuu tells them to return to the ship and escape with Buruma, because they're just going to be in his way. But, Freeza isn't letting anyone escape, because of the damage he's received. Gokuu yells for Freeza to stop, but Kuririn is levitated up, and then exploded. Freeza asks if the brat should be next. This was a mistake, because Gokuu needed only one thing to break the barrier -- extreme rage. The other two wonder what happened, and the Super Saiya-jin orders Gohan to take Piccolo to the ship. Gokuu wants Piccolo healed, because if the Namek dies, so does Kami-sama. Gohan doesn't want to go, and Gokuu tells him to shut up and move. As he flies off with Piccolo, the boy thanks his father, saying that he'll be waiting, and hopes Gokuu will stay well. Freeza refuses to let the boy go, alive. Gokuu says that things have changed with Kuririn's death. The alien asks where all this power has come from. Gohan says that he understands his father's situation, that the man has become a Super Saiya-jin. There's some fighting, then some bantering. Freeza talks about having destroyed the Saiya-jin, and refuses to lose this battle. Freeza turns up the power, to no effect, then it's Gokuu's turn. Freeza gets pounded, and then he uses his finger blasts. And misses. The hero tells Freeza to shoot one more time, and takes the blast flat on the chin. The alien asks who this guy is, and he replies "I am the Earth-raised Saiya-jin, the Super Saiya-jin Son Gokuu." Freeza admits this, and thinks that everything is turning out to be a bad dream. How can all of this be happening to him, to Freeza? Gokuu says it's over. Gohan finds his father's spaceship, drops off Piccolo, and goes to find Buruma. Freeza is going to win by destroying the planet, and Gokuu curses. Kaiou explains what's happening to the dead heroes, and it looks like the planet is gone. At this time, Kami-sama contacts Kaiou and says that Mr. Popo has assembled the Dragon Balls and they can now wish the dead to life. They can bring back Tenshinhan and Yamcha, but not Chao-zu, who has died once before. Suddenly, Kaiou realizes that if Kami-sama is alive, Piccolo must be. And Gohan, Buruma and Gokuu, too. Freeza complains about having lost his touch. Namek won't explode for 5 more minutes. This gives Gokuu 5 minutes to get back to his ship. Freeza won't let this happen. He wants the chance to reach 100% of his real power. He attacks Gokuu, and says that's only 70% of what he can do. He only needs 30 seconds to power up. Gokuu decides to hold off and let Freeza charge up. Kaiou asks why, and Gokuu says that he wants the challenge, because he won't be able to do this again. They argue, with Gokuu saying that Kuririn was a good guy who needs to be revenged. Eventually, Kaiou gives up, saying that this isn't Son Gokuu anymore -- it's the soldier Super Saiya-jin talking. As he nears Buruma's island, Gohan asks what is happening to the planet. He rescues Buruma, who ask all kinds of questions. The boy says that there's no time for talk, they have to hurry. She wants to know where. Freeza is now at full power, and it's time to fight. Kaiou discouragedly tells Kami-sama what's happening. Tenshinhan doesn't want to be brought to life if Chao-zu isn't. Then, Kaiou wakes up and starts asking questions. "Yes, the Namek Balls are like the Earth ones. No, the Earth Balls can't resurrect some one dead more than one year. No, they can't bring back someone who died naturally. Don't know if they can bring back someone who's natural life-span has been unnaturally shortened. They should be able resurrect Namekians." So, Kaiou-sama tells Kami-sama to change the wish from resurrecting the people killed by Vejita, to resurrecting the people that had died because of Freeza. This should bring back Saichourou, and give them the remaining wish from the Namek Shenlon. The dead on the other world think this is ok, because they haven't been dead all that long. Have to hurry, because Namek is about to blow. Kami-sama hadn't known about that part. Freeza and Gokuu are having fun, and they taunt each other. [The next cover page has Yajirobee commenting on Gokuu's being off and playing around somewhere.] The ocean is still filling in the hole, and Freeza says that they only have 2-3 minutes left. But, Gokuu isn't going to run to his ship until Freeza is dead. The alien says that Gokuu has a big mouth. Gokuu hopes that Gohan isn't screwing around somewhere. There's some more fighting. The Earth Shenlon is summoned, and asked if he can resurrect everyone who died because of Freeza. Shenlon doesn't know, but is told to try his best. There's more fighting, and finally the Namekians start realizing that they're not dead anymore, but there's something wrong with the planet. Freeza blusters, then notices that the sky has turned black -- can't be because the planet is going to blow, yet. Shenlon says that he's done it, and he leaves. Kaiou celebrates, Tenshin asks about Saichourou, and is told that the elder, and the Namek Shenlon are both alive. Kaiou contacts Saichourou, and tells him what's happening. Freeza stops asking what's going on when he sees Gokuu surfacing again. He curses the Earthling, rekindling Gokuu's rage over Kuririn's death. Kaiou and Saichourou agree to use the last wish to teleport everyone but Freeza to Earth. However, Gokuu breaks in to have the wished changed -- teleport everyone but himself and Freeza. They argue over this, and Dende is contacted to go to Shenlon, because the boy is the closest one to the Dragon. Gohan, carrying Buruma, asks why the sky is black, Vejita asks why he's alive again, and Shenlon asks for the third wish. Kaiou tells Gokuu what's happening, and the hero is happy. Then, Freeza sees Shenlon. Gokuu is surprised at seeing the Namekian dragon, and misses Freeza's sudden departure. Dende has started making the last wish and Freeza yells out "Make Freeza immortal and unaging!!!!!" Gokuu curses, and Dende completes the wish in Namek. Shenlon says that he can do this. People start warping out, and Gohan is telling Buruma that they've almost reached Piccolo. Freeza is left floating, with his mouth open, as the Balls fly after the main elder. Freeza and Gokuu talk over what had just happened. There's only two minutes left before there's nothing left. So, Freeza and Gokuu are now free to fight with no restrictions. Freeza has decided that he's going to eat Gokuu fried. They revert to hand-to-hand combat again. On Earth, everyone is greeting everyone else, and the elder tells them where they are. On Namek, the battle is heating up.Then, Gokuu declares that he has won, and there's no point in continuing. Now, it's just a matter of saving Freeza's pride. Gokuu powers down and prepares to go to his ship. However, Freeza isn't having any of this, and attacks again. That was Gokuu's last offer, and Freeza just blew it. The cutting energy ball chases after Gokuu, so he flies around before racing straight at Freeza. Freeza is amused at this children's trick.
Episodes 102-107 Gokuu rushes towards Freeza, closely followed by the cutting energy ball. Freeze yells that this is an old trick. The ball apparently kills Gokuu, but the hero had used One Image, and is standing off to the side. Gokuu insults Freeza, basically saying that the alien can only handle a limited amount of power. Freeza creates two cutting balls to prove that he can. The same chase pattern occurs, but this time, as he approaches Freeza, Gokuu shoots a blast to raise a cloud of dust. Cursing, Freeza leaps out of the way of the first disk, but is smashed down into the path of the second. Gokuu tells him to not stand up, but it's too late. Freeza curses a lot, then begs for help. Gokuu, turning to leave for his ship, pauses. Kaiou-sama yells for Gokuu to not listen to the pleas. Then, Gokuu shouts that he's not going to help this kind of killer. Freeza begs one more time, and Gokuu gives him enough power to move on his own again. Back on Earth, the Namek are chattering, but one elder notices that Tsusho's village hasn't shown up yet. Vejita answers that that's probably the one he trashed. The wish had been to bring back the people killed because of Freeza, and Vejita had killed those people on his own. The old Dragon Balls also land, and Saichourou says that after he dies, the new Saichourou should make a new set of Dragon Balls. The group agrees to this, and then the old Namek dies permanently. Piccolo gives his farewells, and Dende asks if Piccolo and Nail are now the same person (Piccolo just smiles.) Buruma asks where Gokuu and Kuririn are, and Gohan answers that Kuririn died again, and that he'd last seen his father fighting Freeza. Piccolo comments on this, and Buruma asks why Kuririn wasn't resurrected with everyone else. Gohan explains that Kuririn has died once already, and Dende overhears this. But, that restriction, on not bringing the same person back to life twice, doesn't apply if the Namek Balls are used for the second resurrection. There is much rejoicing, because that will get Chao-zu and Kuririn. Then, Piccolo complains about how stupid Gokuu is, but Gohan is convinced that the Super Saiya-jin will win. Vejita wakes up at the mention of "Super Saiya-jin." Back on Namek, Freeza is still giving Gokuu a hard time. They talk a bit about getting off the planet, where the ships are, and so on. But, Freeza is a bad loser, and tries one last time to kill Gokuu. This fails, and Gokuu's counter blast finishes off the alien. On Kaiou's planet, Kaiou is relaying what happened, but also adds that Gokuu won't escape in time. Yamcha answers that since Gokuu is a Super Saiya-jin, he still has a chance, so Kaiou starts chanting for Gokuu to hurry. Gokuu reaches Freeza's ship, and begs for it to work. Frantically looking for the start button, he does find it, but the ship doesn't react. He curses, then rushes outside to watch the ship fall into a crevice. Kaiou-sama relates what's happening, Gokuu realizes that the planet is about to explode and he screams "shi --- it!!!" Yamcha yells for Gokuu to not die, and then Namek explodes. Kaiou-sama can't find the planet, or Gokuu. Yamcha volunteers to talk to Buruma and to tell Gohan what's happened, using Kaiou as a channel. He explains what's happening, and then Buruma has to do the same for Gohan. She asks how Yamcha is doing, and he answers "as well as can be expected for a dead guy (more or less.)" He tells her that Gokuu had defeated Freeza (this surprises Vejita,) and tries to say that the hero had died in the explosion, but Buruma interrupts and tells him to quit joking. He yells back at her that it's the truth. Then, Buruma replies that Yamcha doesn't know that the Namek on Earth can recreate their Dragon Balls, which can bring back Chao-zu, Kuririn, AND Gokuu. However, Kaiou bursts her bubble by stating that although those people can be brought back to life, there'd be no place for them to return to, (i.e. -- Gokuu and Kuririn would appear where Namek had been, and would just die again shortly after.) Gohan panics a little at hearing that his father and Kuririn can never be resurrected, and Buruma says that at least the others can be. Vejita speaks up (insulting them,) and states that the obvious thing is to wish for the remains of the two fighters to be brought to Earth, first. Buruma tells him that he's ok after all, and Gohan tries to thank Vejita, but the Saiya-jin just wants to meet a Super Saiya-jin, and then defeat him. This is when one of the Namek elders steps in and says that before they create the Balls, they need a nice place to set up camp. Buruma volunteers some land near the space in the city where she lives, and she extends the offer to Vejita (who accepts it with his normal grace, muttering that she has a big mouth.) Next, she asks everyone to wait while she goes to the nearby house to call for her father to come get them. Gohan asks to stay at Capsule Corp. as well, because he'd forgotten to study his homework and Chi Chi is going to be mad at him. The air bus comes and takes everyone to Buruma's place in the western district. Vejita, too. 130 days later, the Balls have been reactivated, and the Namekian Shenlon appears outside of the Capsule Corp. HQ. Buruma and her father are impressed at the dragon's size. Shenlon asks for the first wish, and the new Saichourou states that the Namek will wait for a while, so the Earthling's can make all three wishes. Gohan thanks him. Buruma wishes for the remains of Gokuu and Kuririn to be brought back to Earth. The dragon answers that Kuririn is a go, but since Gokuu is still alive, he doesn't have any remains to be teleported. Neither Gohan or Kaiou can believe this. Gohan suggests that maybe his father had found a space ship. Buruma then wishes for Kuririn to be brought back to life (he is very surprised.) As a free service, Shenlon had fixed Kuririn's clothes and healed his wounds, as well. Buruma says that the dragon may have a scary face, but he does good work. For the third wish, Buruma shouts out to have Gokuu brought to Earth. There's some cheering. Then, Shenlon answers that since Gokuu is already on his way home under his own power, the wish can't be fulfilled. Kamesennin yells out for a nicer bride for Gokuu, then has to quickly add that he's just joking. (Piccolo notes that while Gokuu is alive, Kaiou-sama couldn't locate him.) So, the third wish is to have Yamcha resurrected. Another 130 days later, Tenshinhan and Chao-zu are resurrected together. The third wish of the second set is for the discovery of a new planet for the Namekians. The Garlic Junior Saga - Episodes 108-117 Kuririn meets with Gohan who is in the water, having just caught a giant fish. Gohan says that until Gokuu comes back, he has to "catch/bring back" dinner. He then tosses three fish onto an huge pile of fish. Kuririn introduces Maron, his girlfriend. He then invites Gohan to the Kame House. Everyone is getting together for the 1st time in quite a while. Piccolo is fighting with three copies of himself. Kami tells Piccolo that Piccolo is the only one that can replace him. Piccolo refuses, telling Kami that he has no interest. Garlic Jr. invades heaven, and Mr. Popo recalls Garlic Jr.'s attempt to gain immortality. An attempt which failed. There is a quick scene showing Piccolo and Gokuu (grown up and wearing his staff) facing Garlic Jr. Then it switches to a young Gohan (looks like Gokuu, but dressed like Gohan) who blasts Garlic Jr. in a fit of rage, and sends him into the Dead Zone (the whole flashback does not make any sense, since Gohan only learned to fight after Gokuu died). The four underlings working for Garlic Jr. easily capture Mr. Popo, and Garlic Jr. seals him in a small glass bottle. Garlic Jr. then releases an Evil mist which starts to cover the planet. Any living creature the mist touches turns evil. Gohan asks Chichi if he can go to the Kame House. Of course, Chichi refuses, saying he needs to study. Gohan leaves without his mother's permission. As Gohan travels to the Kame House, Haiya dragon can "sense" the Evil mists, but Gohan cannot. He asks what Haiya dragon is doing. They land in a small forest, whereupon the creatures of the forest attack them. Kami returns to heaven and is surprised to see Garlic Jr. Kami is quickly captured and Garlic Jr. places him in another small glass bottle. Kuririn asks Yamucha for help in catching fish. Yamucha tells him he has to catch one for his cute girlfriend. Chichi arrives, and asks where Gohan is. Maron tell's "Grandma" to be quiet. Chichi does not like being called "Grandma" and has to be held down by everyone before she can get to Maron. Gohan arrives, and is told that his mom is mad. Maron tells Gohan that Kuririn will talk to his mom for him. Kuririn is not to crazy about the idea, but Maron tells him she will go home if he does not. Kuririn says he will do it. Chichi arrives, and Gohan apologizes for leaving in secret. Chichi attacks, and Maron asks what "Grandma" is doing. Chichi chases Gohan up the roof. Kuririn says Maron really made Chichi mad by calling her "Grandma" again. Gohan promises not to leave in secret again, to study hard, and to help around the house. However, Kame, Yamucha and Buruma come out of the house and attack Kuririn. Apparently, everyone was affected by the Evil mist. Gohan and Kuririn cannot defend themselves without hurting anyone. Haiya dragon swoops in to save Maron. The four evil underlings arrive and are about to kill Gohan and Kuririn when Piccolo appears. When Piccolo talks to the evil underlings, they tell him of an evil star which multiplys the strength of evil creatures many times over. They also say that in 24 hours, Garlic Jr. will become the new God, and the effects of the Evil mist will be permanent. Piccolo tells Gohan and Kuririn to go to heaven and save Kami. Before they can leave, Piccolo is bitten by Yamucha. After Piccolo is defeated, Maron insists on going to heaven. One of the underlings is going to kill Piccolo, but the leader says that if Piccolo dies Kami will die as well. Gohan, Kuririn, Maron and Haiya dragon quickly leave for Karinto Tower. Meanwhile, Vejita is hunting down all of Freezer's men. After leaving Maron with Karin and Yajirobei, Gohan and Kuririn go to meet Garlic Jr. When Garlic Jr. talks to Gohan, he wants to know where Gokuu is. Of course, Gohan does not know. Gohan gathers energy to attack, but Garlic Jr. pulls out Kami and tells him that if Kami dies, so does Piccolo. Karin tells Yajirobei that Maron does not respect his status as a god very much. Yajirobei says, "not very much, not at all." Maron asks "pussycat" to make her some food. Piccolo (now evil) and the four underlings arrive at heaven. Two of the underlings hold Piccolo while the other two attack Gohan and Kuririn. Kuririn is easily defeated, however this drives Gohan into a terrible rage. Gohan easily destroys the two underlings with energy blasts. (Demon Beam?) Piccolo is released to fight Gohan who cannot bring himself to attack Piccolo. While everyone is distracted watching Piccolo beat up Gohan, Kuririn attempts to get the bottles holding Kami and Mr. Popo from Garlic Jr. Garlic Jr. blasts Kuririn and then fires a huge energy ball at him. Gohan sees this and his rage blasts Piccolo away from him and into the path of the energy ball. Amazingly, Piccolo survives the blast. Piccolo then captures and bites Kuririn, thus turning him evil. Together they battle Gohan until finally, Gohan is defeated. Piccolo is about to kill Gohan, when Garlic Jr. grabs his hand to stop him. Suddenly, Piccolo grabs the two bottles containing Kami and Mr. Popo, and tosses the bottles to Kuririn. Kuririn releases the stoppers, thus freeing Kami and Mr. Popo. Piccolo and Kuririn are faking being evil. Garlic Jr. tells them they are already too late. He has become God and it is too late to stop him. Mr. Popo knows a sacred place that has some kind of power capable of stopping Garlic Jr., but Kami may die going there. Again, Kuririn is easily defeated and is about to be killed. The two remaining minions battle Gohan to keep him from saving Kuririn. Gohan's gets really mad and powers up so high that, to the amazement of the two minions, he destroys them in one blast. As Piccolo is fighting Garlic Jr., Garlic Jr. tells him that the Evil star approaches, and Evil creatures will multiply their strength many times over, then he demolishes heaven. Again there is a flashback showing Gohan defeating Garlic Jr. (must be Gohan since he calls out "Father"). The two dead minions return to life with many times the power they had before. Kami meets the earlier Kami (the god from before the present one). Mr. Popo remembers him. The place where Kami went is apparently a Kami's dying ground. Apparently, all the earlier Kami's go there either to die or after dying. Kami life is in jeaopardy, and this causes Piccolo to weaken and start to fade. Gohan almost defeats Garlic Jr., but he is immortal, so cannot be killed. As the sun rises, the 24 hours is almost at hand. Soon the effects of the Evil mist will be permanent. However, Mr. Popo puts the Good bottle in place in time. Garlic Jr. opens the Dead Zone like he did in the last fight. Gohan erects an energy shield to protect Piccolo and Kuririn. Garlic Jr. says his power is without limit. Piccolo tells Gohan that the only way left to defeat Garlic Jr. is to destroy the Evil star which he draws his power from. Gohan says to do that he has to drop the protective shield protecting Kuririn and Picollo from the Dead Zone. Kuririn says to do it, but Gohan refuses. Piccolo distracts Garlic Jr., and tells Gohan to do it now, but again Gohan hesitates. Then Kuririn goes to help Piccolo. This time Gohan blasts the star, and Garlic Jr. loses his awesome power, and is sucked into the Dead Zone. Once revived from the affects of the Evil mist, Chichi wonders what Gohan is doing. She then tells the passerbys that they should be studying, and they say, "YES!" With Garlic Jr. gone, the world returns to a peaceful state. Kuririn thinks that Maron would prefer to be with the guy in the car, then Maron looks at the wedding dress, and wants to try it on. Kuririn thinks that she has been thinking about marriage. Kuririn is told about the Mermaid's Tear legend. When this pearl is given by a lover, the recipient will be forever happy. Kuririn plans to give it to Maron, then propose marriage. Maron wonders where Kuririn went, saying that it is boring. She asks Yamucha to take her somewhere. Buruma and Chichi scold her. Chichi tells Maron that after getting married to Kuririn, she will have to make her children study and think about their education. Maron says that "you Grandmas" have to think about that, but she hates that stuff. Both Chichi and Buruma say that the other may be a "Grandma," but not themselves. Gohan and Kuririn find the groto where the Mermaid's Tear is hidden. They are attacked by a giant eel. During the fight, a cave in almost smashes the Mermaid's Tear, but the giant eel and the fish save it. Gohan says the Mermaid's Tear belongs to the fish, and asks if Kuririn cannot give Maron something else. Kuririn agrees to give something else. Also other episodes with it!! Episodes 118-126 118. The Revenge of Freeza and his father... Gokuu has been gone for one year now and everyone misses him. Vejiita is still on his hunt for Kakarot. Gohan is at home doing his studying, while Krillin is at the Kame House training, hoping to become stronger than Gokuu someday. One day while Gohan is studying and daydreaming about his father's return, Chi-Chi comes into his room and introduces him to his new tutor. She explains that because he has missed so much work, he has to catch up by learning from the tutor. From the first glimpses, the tutor look like a very mean one at that. He has an afro and a whip in one of his hands. The first order of business for the tutor is to administer a test to young Gohan, but when Gohan claims that he can't complete the test because it is tenth grade level (Gohan being a lot younger), the tutor whips him and causes very high anger in the boy. The tutor tells Gohan that if he doesn't obey the tutor then he will let his mother down. Gohan says "Damn it!" and continues to work on the test. Night approaches and Gohan is still studying, but finally falls asleep at his table. Gohan has a dream about his father Gokuu coming back home. Gohan ran to his father, hugged and kissed him, and took him back to the house. Chi-Chi was thrilled and everything was so great, because Gokuu was back. Suddenly Gohan's dream turned to a nightmare, as Gokuu turned into Freeza and started attacking him. When he woke up, he realized that he was very tightly grasping the arm of his tutor and causing the tutor extreme pain. The tutor then starts insulting Gohan's father and that's what gets Gohan over the edge as he plans to attack his tutor. The tutor immediately called in Chi-Chi. She became very mad at Gohan, but when the tutor started insulting Gokuu in front of Chi-Chi, she became very upset and threw the tutor out the window telling him to never come back. Bulma, Yamcha, Krillin, Puar, and Oolong are all at Capsule Corp. They all discuss the situation with Vejiita and his obsession for finding Gokuu. Suddenly they see the spaceship, that Vejiita stole, land in their backyard. It had run out of fuel. Out of the ship came Vejiita and Bulma immediately told him to go take a shower. After Vejiita took his shower Bulma gave him rediculous clothes to wear. A pink button up shirt, and a set of dockers. Vejiita is enraged and demands to know where his clothes are. Bulma tells him that they were dirty and she threw them in the laundry. Vejiita is very upset by this, but lives with it. As Gohan is studying at his house, he gets a phone call. On the other line his good friend Krillin is talking. Krillin asked Gohan if he felt that ki approaching and Gohan replied that he did. Both of them then agreed that the approaching ki was very evil. Vejiita is enraged even more when he yells that Gokuu had not killed Freeza, because he felt Freeza's ki approaching the planet. Piccolo is off by himself in the arctic. He is training, but is interrupted by sensing that an evil ki was approaching. The evil ki of Freeza and someone else. Tien and Chaozu also sense the ki approaching and prepare for a showdown. Gohan puts on his battle gear and flies off from his house towards a mutual meeting place for all of the Z fighters. Chi-Chi and the Ox-King have no chance of stopping Gohan. The scene then cuts to a spaceship where Freeza and his father are located. The two of them look very happy because they are about to destroy the Earth. Will Gokuu come back? If he does come back, will it be in time? Will Freeza destroy the Earth? Find out on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 119: I'll Stop Freeza! A Mysterious Boy Awaiting Gokuu! ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 119 I'll Stop Freeza! A Mysterious Boy Awaiting Gokuu! The Z Warriors all sense an evil ki drifting towards earth. All of those who had fought him, realized it was Freeza. All of the warriors flew to gather at their rally point. Gohan flew and was joined by Krillin. The two were still in disbelief that Gokuu hadn't defeated Freeza. Something was troubling them even more than that though. They had also sensed another ki, a ki stronger than that of Freeza's. Vejiita was the first to land in the spot, followed by Yamcha, Bulma with Puar, Tien, Chaozu, Piccolo, and lastly Gohan and Krillin. Yamcha was upset that Bulma arrived and asked her why she had. Bulma answered that she just wanted to see this Freeza character. Vejiita was impressed with Bulma, claiming that she wasn't just another lowly woman, but that she was a strong one. He was also impressed that the Namek had arrived there so fast, but Vejiita was shocked that Kakarot didn't finish his job of killing Freeza. Aboard the spaceship, King Cold, Freeza's father, was sitting by his son, who had started to charge up. King Cold asked Freeza why he was charging up and Freeza answered that it was because he was anxious to wipe out the Earthling Super Saiya-jin, Gokuu. Piccolo is the first to sense that the evil spaceship was landing and Vejiita told them all to hide their fighting strengths. They wouldn't fly to where Freeza's spaceship was, they would walk as to not set of Freeza's mens' scouters. Yamcha started to lose faith in the situation. Vejiita told the Z squad that this was the Earth's Armageddon. Freeza and his father King Cold got out of the spaceship and announced that Gokuu wasn't due to arrive for another 3 hours. Suddenly as Freeza looked up at a cliff, he saw the Super Saiya-jin, Gokuu there. This triggered a flashback, which explained how Freeza got to Earth. After Freeza was defeated by Gokuu, his body was floating in space when King Cold's radar picked him up. King Cold immediately ordered for Freeza to be brought on board and started repairing Freeza. Because Freeza was so badly beaten and damaged, the crew was forced to combine android parts to him therefor making him Cyborg Freeza. Freeza's first request was to be taken to Earth, to defeat the Saiya-jin at all costs. As the flashback ended, Freeza ordered his men to go and kill everyone on Earth, as to cause Gokuu more pain. As Freeza's men flew up in the air, 4 strokes of a sword killed them all. Out of nowhere a mysterious young boy appeared with a sword. The youth's mission: Kill Freeza! Who is this young boy? Where did he come from? How does he know Freeza? Find out this and more on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 120: Freeza Decisively Defeated! Another Super Saiya-jin! ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 120 Freeza Decisively Defeated! Another Super Saiya-jin! Gokuu still hasn't come back, but a mysterious youth arrived claiming that he would kill Freeza. The young man also claimed that he knew Freeza very well, which of course boosted the Android's ego. Freeza laughs at the youth's threats as if they were harmless and tells his men to take care of the boy. One of his men steps up and says he'll take care of this garbage, but he first checks his scouter. The reading he gets is 5. He laughs in sarcasm. He puts up his gun and starts shooting laser bolts at they young man. Each of his bolts is deflected and swiped away by the youth, who afterwards attacks the shooter and knocks him out in one punch. All of the other man start attacking the young man and they get sliced to pieces, except for one who survived only to be killed by Freeza. The Z Warriors sense the new, high ki and immediately think that it's Gokuu, but Vejiita senses that something isn't right. Suddenly Vejiita becomes enraged because he realizes that there is someone very strong on the planet, someone stronger than Freeza. Freeza is not scared by the youth at all and decides that it's time for him to kill the young man. Freeza exclaims that all of the earthlings are pathetic and stand no chance against Freeza, but the youth tells him he's wrong. The young man says that Son Gokuu wasn't the only Super Saiya-jin and said that there was another one right here. Freeza and King Cold burst out into laughter until they youth starts yelling and there is a golden ki around him. His eyes change to the green color of a Super Saiya-jin and his hair turns blond, standing upright. Freeza goes nuts after looking into those eyes and remembers Gokuu's eyes. Vejiita is pissed off even more because he realizes that there are now two Super Saiya-jins, two people that are stronger than him. He can't stand it and gets really enraged. Freeza starts freaking out and rushes at the youth, shooting some blasts, which cause no damage. After some debating, Freeza decides to use his Planet Destroyer. King Kai is surprised by the appearance of this young man and wonders who he really is, since he has no records of the youth. He even ponders if this young man is more powerful that Gokuu. When King Kai realizes that Freeza is about to use his Planet Destroyer, he loses all hope for the earth, because he claims the Planet Destroyer is 10X that of what it was when it destroyed Namek. Freeza shot his Planet Destroyer and thought that he destroyed the youth, but youth began withstanding the blast until there was a large explosion and the young man had disappeared. Freeza was confident this time that he had killed the youth. On a cliff above Freeza the young man stood and shouted the evil androids name. Freeza looked up only to see a blast for the youth and the blade of his sword cut through Freeza's entire body, splitting him in half. A Super Saiya-jin other that Gokuu? Who is this teen? What is the fate of the Earth? Find out more on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 121: Hiya! It's Been awhile! The Return of Son Gokuu. ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 121 Hiya! It's Been awhile! The Return of Son Gokuu! Freeza had been sliced in half by the youth. The young man then proceeded to chopping Freeza up into small pieces and eventually desintegrated him with a ki blast. The Z Warriors were amazed at how quickly the young man could deal with Freeza. Vejiita was enraged at the site of another Super Saiya-jin. King Cold was impressed by the way the youth defeated his son Freeza and decided to offer the young man a position in King Cold's army, to be his second. The youth calmly declined the offer and Cold said it was a mistake on the boy's part. Then unexpectedly King Cold asked for the young man to lend him his sword, he just wanted to see it. The youth was a bit suspicious, but gave the sword to King Cold. King Cold was surprised at how gullible the young man had been and proclaimed that the youth couldn't defeat him without the sword. King Cold followed his words with an attack, swinging the sword at the youth. The young man blocked the swing calmly with the palm of his hand and said that it wasn't just the sword that had made him powerful. King Cold became terrified. The youth put his hand on the armor of King Cold, while holding the sword with the other hand, and fired a ki blast into the stomach of Cold. King Cold was pushed off and knocked into a cliff, where he lay still conscious with blood oozing out from his stomach. King Cold begged for the young man to spare his life, but the youth had none of it and fired the decisive blast at King Cold and then at his space ship, destroying both. The Z Warriors were even more shocked at this site. It had taken Gokuu every last ounce of strength to defeat Freeza, yet this boy defeated both Freeza and King Cold in a matter of minutes. Vejiita still couldn't believe that there was another Super Saiya-jin out there. His idea was Kakarot and himself were the only pure Saiya-jins left. The youth looked over at the Z gang and told them that Gokuu would be arriving in three hours and that they should follow him to the spot where Gokuu would land. Everyone was a bit hesitant at first, but Gohan was the first to agree and fly off after the young man. After they all landed in a spot designated by the youth, he offered them beverages from his Capsule Corp. Cooler! Bulma also noticed that he was wearing one of the Capsule Corp. Logo jackets and asked him whether he was an employee of the Capsule Corp. Vejiita was the first to ask the question of who the young man was and how he knew Gokuu. The youth couldn't answer the questions for some strange reason. Bulma asked him his name and age and finally got one response from him, which was that he is 17 years old, but no name was supplied. Vejiita was suspicious because Saiya-jins were supposed to have black hair and yet this kid had grayish hair. They were all suspicious of who he was since he knew when and where Gokuu would land, but didn't actually ever meet Gokuu. Chi-chi and the Ox-King were preparing for the return of Gohan. Chi-chi had gone nuts by going on the Home Shopping Network and buying all sorts of new technological studying materials. Ox-King was shocked at his daughters craziness. The youth and the Z gang were still awaiting the arrival of Gokuu. They were starting to become sceptical of what this boy was telling them until they felt a ki approaching the planet. It was the ki of Gokuu! Everyone ran over joyously to the spot where the pod had landed and the Saiya-jin pod opened to reveal Gokuu, who was surprised to see everyone there, especially the young man! Just like the teen said, Gokuu had returned. The question still remains who the young man is. Does Gokuu know this youth? Find out this and more on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 122: My Father is Vejiita! The Mysterious Youth's Confession... ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 122 My Father is Vejiita. The Mysterious Youth's Confession... As Gokuu arrived on Earth, he was both happy and surprised to see the Z Warriors gathered at the exact location where he landed. Gohan, Krillin, and the others told Gokuu that it was this mysterious youth that had told them where Gokuu would land and they asked Gokuu whether he knew the young man. Gokuu was as puzzled as the rest of the Z Warriors. He had no idea who this boy was. Gokuu was surprised to find out that this teen had killed Freeza and his father in a matter of minutes. The youth asked to talk to Gokuu in private, which caused the other warriors to become a bit suspicious. Vejiita just continued to be mad at both Kakarot and the young man. The youth took Gokuu off to the side to tell him what was going on. The boy first made a strange request to Gokuu. He asked Gokuu to transform into a Super Saiya-jin. So, even though he was hesitant, Gokuu changed into SSJ. The teen comented on how Gokuu had looked a lot like him, when he was transformed into SSJ. Then the young man proceeded to change into SSJ as well. He wanted to see how strong Gokuu was and attacked him. The first time, Gokuu didn't make a move because he knew the boy wouldn't harm him, but the second time the youth told that he would not hold back and for Gokuu to try and block. As the boy attacked, Gokuu deflected every swipe of the teen's sword with one finger. The young man was impressed and changed back to his normal form. Gokuu followed suit. At this point the youth was ready to tell Gokuu what was happening. First he told Gokuu that he was from 20 years into the future and that his name was Trunks. Then came a big shock to Gokuu, when Trunks announced that his father was Vejiita. After Gokuu became calm again, from the initial shock, Trunks proceeded to tell the story of the two cyborgs, created by Dr. Gero, a scientist from the Red Ribbon Army, which Gokuu defeated years ago. The two cyborgs were born on Earth, and their soul purpose was destruction. He told Gokuu that his future was destroyed because of the two cyborgs. Gokuu listened intently and was becoming very concerned. Trunks told him that the cyborgs would arrive in three years, on May 12, slightly after 10:00 A.M., 9 kilometers out from the southern continent. Trunks told Gokuu that all of the Z Warriors except Gohan died and Gohan taught Trunks how to fight. The two of them fought the cyborgs, but the year before, Gohan was killed as well and Trunks was the only one left to fight the cyborgs. Gokuu wondered why Trunks hadn't mentioned him in it at all. Trunks then explained Gokuu's grim fate. He foretold that Gokuu would contract a heart disease and die, before getting a chance to fight the cyborgs. Gokuu gets pissed off at it saying how exciting it would be to fight against a strong force like that. Trunks is a bit surprised by the excitement that Gokuu, but concludes that Gokuu is a true Saiya-jin warrior. Trunks throws Gokuu a bottle of pills, which are a cure for his disease, from the future. He tells Gokuu to take the pills just as his health would start worsening and he saw the first signs of the disease. Gokuu was thrilled to hear this and promised Trunks not to tell any of this to the others, but before Trunks left Gokuu wanted to know who his mother was. Trunks told Gokuu that it was a person there, at their location, it was Bulma. This shock was even greater than the one he experienced after finding out that Vejiita was Trunks' father. Trunks then flew away and Gokuu went back to his friends. When Gokuu got back to his friends, he was surprised to find out that Piccolo overheard their conversation due to his keen sense of hearing. Gokuu couldn't find a way to tell the Z Warriors what he and the teen talked about, but Piccolo stepped in and told the whole story, cleverly covering up all of the parts that would endanger Trunks' existence. Piccolo told them all that he would train for the next three years and didn't care what the rest of them would do. The other Z Warriors weren't really believing this story until they saw Trunks' time machine fly into the air and disappear. After they saw that, they all decided that they would train. Vejiita was enraged at all that had transpired, as usual. What is Gokuu's new technique? What will be the fate of the Earth in three years? Who will train to fight against these new killing machines, the Cyborgs? Find out this and more on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 123: Gokuu's new Special Attack!? Look at my Instantaneous Movement! ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 123 Gokuu's new Special Attack!? Look at my instantaneous Movement! Gokuu and the rest of the gang were standing at the site of where Gokuu's spaceship had landed. There was one question, which troubled Vejiita, how did Kakarot escape from the planet Namek. As Vejiita asked the question, Gokuu began to tell an elaborate story of how he managed to escape. As Planet Namek was at the brink of destruction, Gokuu raced as fast as he could, to find a spaceship, which would take him off of the inferno of a planet. Gokuu first found Freeza's spaceship, but to his dismay, the spaceship was damaged and he almost got himself killed as the spaceship plunged to into a boiling pool of lava. After Gokuu escaped from the ship, it seemed as if he had died because of the explosion of Namek, but Gokuu had actually spotted five of the Saiya-jin space pods lying nearby. These pods were of the Ginyu Force. Gokuu got into the pod as soon as he could and pressed all of the buttons he could, until finally the pod flew off into space after nearly landing in a lake of lava. As the space ship flew off it left the planet to its demise. Planet Namek exploded, but Gokuu was on his way to the closeby planet of Yardratto because, due to Vejiita's speculation, the Ginyu Force were going to attack that planet next so the course was preset. Gokuu then described how he landed on the planet and recieved very warm treatment. Vejiita immediately inquired why Gokuu had taken so long to get back and explained himself that the Yardratto-jins are not a strong people, but they have many different techniques, so Vejiita asked what Gokuu learned. Gokuu immediately replied, by saying, Instantaneous Movement. He then proceeded to explain that this movement or teleportation could only be pulled off by Gokuu sensing a ki and moving towards it with this new technique. The Z gang was impressed with his new technique, but now they wanted to see him perform it. So Gokuu decided he would show it to them and was thinking of a good place to teleport. Gokuu decided and vanished into thin air, reappearing a few seconds afterwards right back to where he was. Vejiita was unimpressed, saying that it was just quick movement, which even he could pull off. When Gokuu showed everyone that he had Master Roshi's sunglasses, they were amazed that this was for real. Even Vejiita was now satisfied. Master Roshi on the other hand was searching for the glasses. He couldn't find his glasses anywhere, therefor he couldn't look at his porno magazines. Tien suggested that they should all meet in three years in the designated spot for where the Androids were supposed to appear. He asked Gokuu where the Androids were supposed to appear, but Gokuu had forgotten. Good thing Piccolo overheard the conversation, filling in all of the details to the Z Warriors. At the end, Piccolo told everyone that only the confident should arrive at the battlefield on that day. Out of nowhere Bulma came up with a great idea. Her plan was to get the dragonballs and wish for them to find out where Dr. Gero's layer was located, whereas they could destroy it ahead of time and not have to worry about the Androids in three years. Krillin complimented her idea, but Vejiita was enraged and warned her that if she were to do something foolish like that, he would kill her. Bulma and Krillin were both afraid, but Bulma turned to whom she though would be sensible enough not to fight, Gokuu. To her dismay, Gokuu wanted to fight these Androids as well, so eventually it was decided that they would train and meet in three years to fight against the Androids. When Gokuu and Gohan told Chi-Chi that they were going to train for the next three years, the wife and mother exploded in anger yelling at both of them because she wanted Gohan to be a genius. Gokuu tapped her gently on the shoulder, thinking he could control his power, but Chi-Chi flew through the wall and a tree. As Gokuu was wrapping bandages around her, she finally gave up and said that Gohan could train for the next three years, but after that it would be strictly studying. So it was decided. Tien and Chao-zu were isolated in a valley, where Tien was practicing his many energy techniques. Yamcha was in a gym trying to concentrate on his fitness, but not being able to pay attention because of the girls aerobics class next to him. Krillin went back to Master Roshi's place to train at his own pace. While Master Roshi was looking at his porno magazines, Krillin was practicing his Kamehameha. Vejiita went to the Capsule Corp. and asked Bulma's father to build him a Gravity Room, which could go up as high as 300G, which sounded outrageous to the father, but Vejiita insisted very angrily that he needed to train at three times the gravity that Kakarot trained at. Vejiita started training at 150G and was determined to surpass the Super Saiya-jin stage. Gohan was training with Piccolo and Gokuu. The two were fighting him with their awesome strength, but Gohan was persistent and holding on. Even though he made a couple of mistakes he never gave up. The training continues! Will all of the Z Warriors be ready for the deadly force, which is bound for them? Will Gohan, Piccolo, and Gokuu be at their top form? Will Vejiita surpass Gokuu's strength? Find out on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 124: I'll Surpass you Gokuu!! The Warrior Race Saiya-Jin's King ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 124 I'll Surpass you Gokuu!! The Warrior Race Saiya-Jin's King. Yamcha is training outside, by doing many repetetive punch moves with Puar cheering him on. Vejiita is still hard at training in his Gravity Room. He has moved up from 150G to 300G and Yamcha can't believe at what kind of a person Vejiita is. Vejiita is doing pushups, handstands, cartwheels and more just to surpass Gokuu. That night after Vejiita was done using the Gravity Room, Yamcha decided that if Vejiita could do it than so could he. While no one was looking, Yamcha slipped into the room and turned the Gravity up to 300G. At first it seemed like nothing, but after a couple of moments the tremendous gravity started pulling Yamcha down like a rock and he dropped to the floor unable to move. Finally Yamcha was able to muster up enough strength to push the button which would reset the gravity back to 1G. Meanwhile, Bulma and her mother are discussing Vejiita. Bulma is interested in Vejiita somewhat, but her mother is really the shocker, because she's turned on by the fact that Vejiita is so mysterious. When Bulma asks her what she thinks of Gokuu, her mother replied that he's handsome, but Vejiita has a certain shadow to him. Bulma's father complains that Vejiita has been doing the impossible and in the process is breaking more and more of his training tool and asking for more and more of them to be made again. Vejiita is still training at 300G. His training is becoming more and more intense. Now instead of just doing physical exercising, he's practicing his ki techniques at this high gravity. There are instruments in the room, which shoot ki blasts and spin them around the room to make it more unexpectant. Vejiita has a tremendous battle with one of these blasts, but loses and the whole Gravity Room is blown to pieces. Bulma, Yamcha, and Bulma's mom and dad all run out to see what had happened. Bulma feared that Vejiita was dead, but Vejiita stuck his hand through the rubble to show them that he had survived. Just as Bulma was about to get mad at him, he dropped back to the ground in exhaustion. In a peaceful forest scene, lighting streaks of energies is seen flying in the sky. Gokuu, Gohan, and Piccolo are hard at training. This time Gohan and Piccolo are teamed up against Gokuu. Both of them shoot their most powerful blasts at Gokuu, but he disappears. They can't tell where he went. Out of the blue, Piccolo makes a fist and punches into the empty sky, where Gokuu suddenly appears just barely being missed by the fist. Gohan is interested in seeing his father and teacher fight. The two go at it in an extremely intense duel. Their movement is lighting fast and each one of them can predict the other ones moves. Suddenly Gohan decides to jump in and attacks his father. Gohan is lightning fast, but not fast enough to even lay a finger on his dad. Piccolo is enjoying watching the two Saiya-jins dueling it out. Gohan is not match for Gokuu and the father eventually knocks Gohan down. Back at Capsule Corp. Vejiita is in bed because of all of his injuries and Bulma's parents comment on how they feel sorry for the Saiya-jin. After the parents leave, Bulma sits by Vejiita's side. Vejiita is not laying peacefully in bed though, he is having a dream or to him it's a nightmare. He is running through darkness into nowhere, but hot on the trail of something. Suddenly he sees Kakarot in front of him. He becomes enraged and jumps at him, but Kakarot dissapears. He lands and turns around to see Trunks floating in the air above him. He lunges at Trunks as well, but misses again. Then the two Saiya-jin appear in front of him. They both transform to SSJ on at the same time. Vejiita is pissed, but is blown away by the two SSJs' strong auras. Afterwards, he asks himself Why can't I reach them? WHY? This causes him to have a flashback to his childhood where his father tells him that he is a born Saiya-jin and can be one of the greatest. There may even be a possibility of him turning SSJ. Vejiita thinks this over to himself and remembers that he is super elite and decides that since Kakarot is just a low class Saiya-jin, then he himself is guaranteed the chance to become Super Saiya-jin. Vejiita wakes up from his dream and immediately goes back to the Gravity Room. He turns the gravity up to 400G and continues his physical training. Bulma interferes, trying to make him stop training while he's hurt. Her disruption causes him to lose concentration. Finally he yells to her that if she wants to survive in three years, she has to SHUT UP!!! Gokuu and Gohan continue their training, which is getting more and more intense. Piccolo is watching and marveling at the potential of the two warriors. Will their training be enough to fight the Androids? Will Vejiita finally achieve the level of Super Saiya-jin? Who will make it to the battlefield? Find out on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 125: A Driver's License??? Gokuu's New Ordeal... ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 125 A Driver's License??? Gokuu's New Ordeal... Chi-Chi is running away from a wild boar, carrying her groceries. This is how the episode starts out. As she is running from the wild animal her groceries scatter around and fall to the ground or smash into the boar's face. Chi-Chi is terrified and is telling the boar that she's not good food. She runs to the edge of the cliff and reacts quickly enough to stop, even though she loses many of her groceries. The boar was lost in its own momentum and flew over the edge. Gokuu was lying on the grass and enjoying the peaceful day as Gohan was fishing in the lake. Gohan came up with a huge fish and Gokuu complimented him, saying that Chi-Chi would be pleased. Off to the side, Piccolo is floating in the air and meditating. The Namek thinks to himself that a break in the middle of training is foolish. As Chi-Chi nears her house, she sees the couple from the next mountain flying by in an Air-Car, with groceries, and she wishes that she had an Air-Car to get her groceries with. Her huge load of groceries was now reduced to two small bags. Gokuu and Gohan reentered the house and Gohan went to show off his fish to Chi-Chi. She wasn't to impressed. Gokuu then told Gohan that they should go take a bath and Gohan invited Piccolo to join. Chi-Chi was furious and started yelling at Gokuu. She demanded that Gokuu get an Air-Car and a license, since he was "the only person in the world without a driving license." Gokuu is a bit hesitant, but Chi-Chi tells both him and Piccolo to get a driver's license or else she wouldn't cook them dinner. So the two warriors were off to get a driver's license. At the driving school, Gokuu was dressed in a Hawaiian shirt with shorts and Piccolo was dressed in a cap, which said Gokuu on it, a yellow shirt, and a pair of jeans. Gokuu wound up with an old and strict man for a teacher, while Piccolo was the student of a young and nice woman. Piccolo's teacher was a very crazy driver, in fact she promoted extremely fast driving and she showed it by travelling at tremendous speeds. Gokuu's teacher on the other hand, demanded that Gokuu drive slow and steady. At Capsule Corp. Bulma's mother was getting worried that she hadn't seen Vejiita in a long time, but Bulma reassured her that because of Vejiita's extreme ego and fighting mania he was training harder and harder still. Vejiita was in fact in the Gravity Room. The gravity was being increased steadily as he mastered each level in time. He was now up to 410, 420, 440, 450G. Vejiita exclaimed that he would beat Kakarot eventually. Gohan was at home trying to do his studying, but he couldn't concentrate and was doodling in his notebook. Chi-Chi commented on how bad of an influence Gohan's father was on him and let him continue his studies. Suddenly in the window, Gohan saw his good friend Higher Dragon and he flew away to see where Piccolo and Gokuu had gone. Piccolo was now driving and the teacher commented that he was doing a pretty good job, as he was driving slowly. When Gokuu tried driving he forgot how to start the car. So finally when his teacher told him again how to do it, Gokuu hit the accelerator, but drove backwards and crashed. He retried it one more time and this time he went forward, but very fast. The car was going extremely fast and the teacher asked Gokuu to give him the wheel, so Gokuu tore off the wheel and gave it to the teacher. The car steered out of control and landed in a lake. Piccolo was chuckling to himself as he drove by. Gohan was riding the Dragon and yelled that he saw Piccolo and Gokuu not far off. He wanted to see how they were driving. Gokuu's teacher told him that it would take Gokuu three years to get a driver's license at the rate he was driving. So they started over again and Gokuu again drove very fast. His Air-Car flew past Piccolo's and Piccolo took it as a challenge to a race. So the two of them started racing. Piccolo's instructor was proud of her student, while Gokuu's instructor was terrified. The two raced for a couple of minutes until their Air-Cars crashed into one another and blew up. Everyone thought that Gokuu, Piccolo, and their two instructors were dead, but Gokuu and Piccolo actually rescued them from the wreck. This time the instructors decided to be strict and kept the two under control as they were driving in rainy, trecherous conditions. As Gokuu was driving he saw a school bus of young kids and waved at them, for which his teacher gave him a demerit, followed by a melee of more demerits after Gokuu protested his harsh judgement. Suddenly out of nowhere a lightning bolt struck a boulder, which hit the bus and caused it to fly over the cliff. Gokuu saw this and immediately reacted by driving faster to get there. When his Air-Car crashed into Piccolo's he flew out and quickly saved the bus. Piccolo came over to help him as well. While Piccolo was holding the bus, Gokuu flew up and destroyed all of the uncoming boulders. The day was saved and the kids drove away safely as the sky cleared. Gokuu and Piccolo apologized to their teachers and asked when they could continue their lessons, but both of their instructors said that they didn't need a license since they were that strong. So the two didn't get a license after all. When they came home, Chi-Chi was outraged and fainted. So three years passed in no time and the evil Androids were coming soon. Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo were all on their way. As they were leaving the house, Chi-Chi offered them lunch, but they declined and flew off. The battle was about to commence. Are Gokuu, Gohan, and Piccolo ready for the battle? How will the other Z-Warriors fare against the evil Androids? Is Vejiita ready for the battle? What will be the fate of the Earth? Who are the Artificial Humans? ------------------------------------------------------------
EPISODE 126 Killers Without a Trace. Who are the Artificial Humans? Gokuu, Gohan, and Piccolo are on their way to the battlefield. As they're flying, they happen to meet Krillin. Piccolo and Gokuu are flying behind and discussing the upcoming battle. Gokuu says that he is excited to fight and Piccolo envies the attitude that Gokuu shows towards the fight. Piccolo feels confident that they will win, but he has a bad premonition. The gang finally reached the island where the Androids are supposed to arrive. They realize that there is a big city on this island and many lives can be lost. They arrived there at 9:30AM. The gang then spots two high ki. It's Yamcha and Tien. Gokuu, Gohan, Piccolo, and Krillin fly towards them and happen to meet Bulma there as well. Except there is something different about Bulma, she has a baby. Gohan is first to ask if she had married Yamcha, but Yamcha replied in disgust that they wouldn't believe who the father was. Gokuu then said, without thinking, "Could Vejiita be the father of Trunks?" This shocked everyone, especially Bulma. She told them all that she wanted it to be a surprise and was dismayed at the fact that Gokuu knew all of this. Gokuu tries to cover up by saying that it sounded right that Vejiita would be the father because the baby looks like him, but when Bulma asked him how he knew the child's name, he replied that he had ESP or something of that sort. Vejiita was still nowhere in site with the approaching battle. Bulma's father entered Trunks' room and was calling his name, but got no response. He brought a new toy to the boy, which was a lot like a Jack-In-The-Box, except scarier. The scene then scrolled over to the clock on Trunks' dresser, which said 10:14AM. The Z-Warriors were all gathered on the mountain and waiting for the Androids to arrive. Tien decided not to bring Chao-zu along because he would get hurt. Suddenly they felt a ki approach. It was the ki of Yajirobe. As he landed he went over to Gokuu, who immediately asked Yajirobe whether he was going to fight. The fat man answered no and said that Karin had passed these senzu beans on to Gokuu. Gokuu was thankful and asked Yajirobe if he was sure he didn't want to stay. Yajirobe had no trouble answering no again. He flew away on his ship. Tien was starting to get worried that it was 10:17AM and the two androids hadn't arrived yet. Bulma wanted to wait a little longer, but Yamcha told her that if they were on the planet they could spot their ki. Suddenly something blew up in the air. It was Yajirobe's ship. Piccolo immediately saw two forms responsible for the incident. Gokuu was able to spot them as well, but was amazed to find out that he couldn't read their ki. Gohan then said that because they were Artificial Humans, they had no ki. This was a scarry concept for them all. Piccolo then pointed out that they would have to find the Androids with their eyes. So Gokuu decided that the gang would split up and look for the two androids. Gokuu gave the bag of senzu beans to Bulma to look after them and the rest of them flew off, as Gohan went to rescue Yajirobe. They were searching the city very carefully and couldn't find anyone. Meanwhile, two strangers landed in the city and were walking around. First they killed two men, then the older of the two strangers showed his amazing strength and broke a man's car and then took the man by his neck and snapped it. A woman yealled and Yamcha overheard the scream. Yamcha ran over to the place and asked people where the killers were. The killers had spotted Yamcha's approach and were surprised by his strength, even though at first they made a mistake in believing that Gokuu was approaching. They finally figured out that it was Yamcha with electronic devices in their eyes. They decided to suck Yamcha's energy out and landed behind him. At first Yamcha didn't know who they were, but when he saw the Red Ribbon Army symbol on their heads he knew that they were the Androids. The older of the two went for his mouth and stuck his hand over it, causing him to drain in energy. A truck was driving towards them. It saw them and made a sharp turn, lost its balance, and crashed into a gas station, causing a huge explosion. This got the attention of the rest of the Z-Warriors. Gohan was flying Yajirobe back to the mountain where Bulma was and he saw the explosion along with Bulma. The older Android was holding Yamcha by the face and then stuck his other hand through Yamcha's body, impaling him. Yamcha was in great pain! The Androids that Trunks had predicted had come. What is Yamcha's fate? What are these Artificial Humans? Where's Vejiita? Does Gokuu have a chance of stopping the Androids and saving the Earth? Find out this and more on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 127: Cold blooded #20's Path of Evil. Gokuu's Transformation of Anger...! ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 127 Cold blooded #20's Path of Evil. Gokuu's Transformation of Anger...! Yamcha is dangling above the ground, with the hand of the older looking Android impaling his body. Gokuu, Piccolo, Tien, and Krillin are all flying towards the scene after the huge explosion there. Tien senses that a high ki is begining to dwindle and Krillin realized that it's Yamcha. Gokuu, Piccolo, Tien, and Krillin all arrive at the scene of the incident to see Yamcha impaled. Gokuu is enraged by this site. The older Android drops Yamcha's body and Gokuu orders Krillin to take Yamcha back to the mountain for the senzu beans. Krillin looks into the terrified eyes of Yamcha and is shocked by the site, but wastes no time in taking Yamcha away from the battlefield. Piccolo then says that finally they got a good look at the ugly faces of the Artificial Humans. This surprised the older Android and he asked how it was that they knew that he and his partner were artificial humans and how they knew where he and his partner would arrive. Piccolo answered simply, "Why don't you make us?" As the Android says ok, Gokuu exclaims that they have to fight somewhere else, because people would get hurt otherwise. The Android agreed that they should fight alone and decided to destroy the city. He fired repeated laser blasts from his eyes and the city lit up in flames. Gokuu was outraged at this and attacked the older Android, knocking his hat off and revealing a glass skull with an artificial brain inside. Gohan, Bulma, Yajirobe, Krillen, and Yamcha all saw the city go up into flames. Yamcha was now healed after taking a senzu bean and he commented that those were the Androids and that they were extremely powerful. Gokuu yelled at the two Androids and told them to follow him to a designated place of his. The older Android then surprises them all by saying, "Choose a place to die, Son Gokuu." The reason it was surprising was because the Androids knew the rest of them as well. Piccolo and Tien. So after a few seconds of shock, Gokuu and the rest flew off to another place. Gohan noticed first that his father and the rest were leaving. Yamcha exclaimed that he had to tell something to Gokuu. That the Androids could drain a person's energy and he described his own experience. Back at the Kame House, Master Roshi and Oolong were watching aerobics on television with Chao-zu sitting behind their couch. Suddenly the program was interrupted by an important announcement telling them that an island was badly attacked by an unknown force. The island was 9 kilometers southwest of the southern capitol. Chao-zu immediately realized that this was where the Z-Warrior were and became worried, but Master Roshi reassured them that Gokuu was there and he was strong enough to beat them because he was Super Saiya-jin. The Roshi quietly said to himself that Gokuu was their only hope, again. Gokuu is leading the Androids to his designated place. The Z-Warriors fly through many plains and oceans to get far from civilization. Meanwhile, Gohan decided not to wait by and quickly flew after them, with Krillin not far behind. Yamcha was at first hesitant to follow, but then convinced himself that he wouldn't fight, he would just watch and he flew after them as well. Bulma and Yajirobe were the last ones left on the mountain and Bulma asked why Yajirobe wasn't going to fight. After she bitched him out a bit he calmly replied that he couldn't fly. Gokuu was still taking them to his spot, but the Androids were becoming annoyed and said that the spot below them was good enough. So they all landed. Piccolo then predicts that if something should go wrong in this battle for the Androids they can run off into the hills, because the plain they were on was surrounded by mountains. Before they fight, Gokuu wants to find out from them how they knew who they were. Tien turned to look at Gokuu and noticed that he was winded. Tien was wondering why Gokuu was winded from flight alone? Meanwhile, Gokuu was breathing heavily. The older Android decided to tell how they knew about the Z-Warriors. Dr. Gero or the Red Ribbon Army had invented a little bug, which followed Gokuu around everywhere and measured his strength through every fight that he had. It was there during all of the Tenka-Ichi-Budokais and during Gokuu's fights with Piccolo, Raditz, and Vejiita. Gokuu first asked them if they hated him and they replied of course, since he had destroyed the Red Ribbon Army. Piccolo was then wondering why this Android sounded like he was Dr. Gero, but the Android told him that he was #20 and his counterpart was #19 and that Dr. Gero had long since been dead. Gokuu then asked whether they had any information on him going to Namek. The Androids calmly replied no and said that they predicted that he couldn't get much stronger. Gohan, Krillin, and Yamcha are all searching for the Z-Warriors, but can't find them because they are all controlling their ki. Piccolo then told #20 and #19 that they had made a critical error and that they didn't know about the Super Saiya-jin! The two Androids were unimpressed, but Gokuu decided to show them what a Super Saiya-jin was and he transformed into the golden haired man. Gohan, Krillin, and Yamcha immediately picked up the tremendous source of energy from Gokuu's transformation into SSJ and they quickly flew towards it. #20 and #19 were surprised at the strength that Gokuu now exhibited, but they weren't scared and said that they could single handedly defeat him. Even after Gokuu has revealed his true strength, why are the Androids so confident? What are they planning? Does Gokuu stand a chance against them? Find out this and more on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 128: Gokuu's Double Shock!! Caught between Disease and the Enemy! ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 128 Gokuu's Double Shock!! Caught between Disease and the Enemy! Gokuu is first to start his assault on the Androids. His first target was Android #19. He charged at 19 and dissapeared, appearing behind him. Then the fight began. Blow for blow, kick for kick, punch for punch. The battle was intense and Gokuu seemed to have the upper hand. 19 Couldn't tell where Gokuu was going to appear next, thus Gokuu had an extreme advantage over Android 19. Tien thought that Gokuu had this fight won all by himself, but Piccolo sensed that there was something wrong with Gokuu, yet he couldn't put his finger on it just yet. Back at the Kame house, Master Roshi and Oolong were looking at a porno magazine and Chao-zu was sitting on the couch in a sad mood. Suddenly there was a girls voice at the door, asking for Krillin. It was none other than Maron, the one who dumped Krillin earlier. Master Roshi was dumbfounded and went straight for her chest to do his famous "Puff, puff" maneuver, but she moved out of the way and he did it to a plant. She was searching for Krillin because she supposedly loved him again. Master Roshi told her that he was off fighting for the fate of the Earth, against the evil Androids. Maron looked at him calmly and said that she didn't understand a word he said. So Master Roshi, being the pervert that he was, decided to come in for a closer view of her chest in order to explain to her better. Master Roshi started to tell his story of how Gokuu had defeated the Red Ribbon Army. He told of Gokuu's quest for the Dragonballs and his fights with the a lot of bad guys of the Red Ribbon Army, but each time the boy was successful. Eventually Gokuu attacked the main head quarters of the Red Ribbon Army and destroyed them forever. One survivor remained though, his name was Dr. Gero and he was creating Artificial Humans to destroy Gokuu once and for all. Eventually, Dr. Gero's own creations killed him, but the Artificial Humans survived and were waging war now agains the Z-Warriors. Master Roshi then explained the Krillin was one of the people fighting against the Androids. Maron looked at him again and again she didn't understand a word he said. Krillin, Gohan, and Yamcha are still on their way towards the huge source of energy, which Gohan feels is his dad's. Meanwhile, Gokuu is still fighting against Android 19. Gokuu is unbelievably strong and is holding up his own agaist 19. Gokuu is taking out the trash with 19 and Tien thinks that it's amazing at how strong Gokuu is. Piccolo is a bit hesitant about coming to that conclusion though. Android 20 is worried that this wasn't predicted, they never thought Gokuu could be this strong and that 19 would run out of energy soon before he could steal Gokuu's. Gohan, Krillin, and Yamcha arrive at the battle. As Gohan arrives he begins noticing something strange about his dad just like Piccolo has. Piccolo then begins wondering why Gokuu was stretching the fight out so much. Tien thinks that Piccolo is just imagining a weakness in Gokuu, but Piccolo tells him that Gokuu should be much stronger than that. Gohan then makes a point that the Androids can steal energy, so he asks if Gokuu may have gotten a lot of his energy stolen. Piccolo is enraged and surprised with the fact that the Androids can steal energy. Yamcha explained to Piccolo how his energy was absorbed by Android 20. Gokuu still continues to pound on 19 and is destroying the Android, but it looks as if Gokuu is getting a bit winded. Gokuu doesn't know what to do to finish this Android of and decides to shoot a Kamehameha at him. Big mistake. The Android absorbed the Kamehameha and regained his full strength. Krillin was wondering whether the Android really stole that much energy from Gokuu, but Piccolo told him that they didn't steal any energy directly from Gokuu. #19 was now at full power, while Gokuu was begining to fade in strength. The fight started again and this time, Gokuu was on the recieving end of the beating. Finally, as Gokuu fell to the Earth, Gohan was the first to figure out what was wrong with Gokuu because Gokuu was holding his chest when he was getting up. Gohan yelled to all, "I know!! Father's ill! He's got heart disease!" Everyone was shocked, but believed it because the boy from the future, Trunks, had predicted it. Has the viral heart disease started to affect Gokuu? Will Gokuu be able to defeat the strengthened Artificial Human in this condition? Will the Earth survive now that Gokuu's in his weakened state? Find out this and more on the next exciting episode of Dragonball Z! COMING UP NEXT: Episode 129: Vejiita's Strength! The Awakened Blood of a Super Saiya-jin!!! ------------------------------------------------------------ EPISODE 129 Vejiita's Strength! The Awakened Blood of a Super Saiya-jin!!! Gokuu is feeling tremendous pain at his heart and is using his hand to clutch the left side of his chest. He is very exhausted and doesn't know why. The Androids and Z-Fighters look on unknowingly. Gokuu kneels down to the ground. Piccolo then realized what's going on and he remembers back to when Trunks had come from the future, where he had told Gokuu that he would acquire a heart disease in the fight against the Androids. The only thing was that Trunks also supplied Gokuu with the medication for the disease. Krillin is wondering whether or not Gokuu had taken the medication and Gohan simply replied that Gokuu was never ill, so he didn't need to take the medecine. Gokuu doesn't understand why it hurts so much. Krillin supplies him with a senzu, but it doesn't help at all. The Androids realized what those beans were and how Yamcha was brought back to life with them. #19 then shoots a blast at Gokuu, which he escaped, but Gokuu is then attacked agains and this time can't block. Gokuu is getting the living crap beat out of him by #19. After some time Gokuu changes back to normal state because he's too weak to stay Super Saiya-jin. #19 takes advantage of this and jumps onto Gokuu, to start absorbing his energy. The Z-Fighters try to put a stop to it, but #20 gets in their way and challenges them to pass him. Piccolo attempts but fails and is shot down. #20 is disgusted by the display of "bravery". #19 is still sucking Gokuu's energy and Gokuu is about to pass out when out of nowhere a boot knocks #19 off of Gokuu. It's Vejiita. He claims that he will be the one to defeat Gokuu. Piccolo gets up as if nothing happened and explains that he fought badly on purpose to distract the Androids and that Vejiita was getting in the way. Vejiita cursed at Gokuu for some time and then kicked him away from the battlefield so that someone could take him home, to take his medecine. Gohan volunteers, but Yamcha says that he would be useless in the battle and that he would take Gokuu back home. So Yamcha flew away. #19 and #20 decide to save the best (Gokuu) for last and get rid of the Z-Fighters first. Yajirobe is playing around with baby Trunks while Bulma is looking on and commenting how good Yajirobe is with children. After some more playing, Trunks pees on Yajirobe's face and Yajirobe is disgusted. He is then forced to give his favorite cloth to Bulma for her to dry Trunks. Bulma then tells Yajirobe that they must go and see the Androids and eventually forces Yajirobe to go with her. Bulma is a speed demon and charges off towards the battlefield. Krillin suggests retreating for a while, but everyone is against it because the Earth would be destroyed if they went away. Krillin argues that they have to wait for Gokuu to get better, but Piccolo rejects the idea because history has been changed already. #19 asks #20 to take care of Vejiita. #20 calls him a jerk because he already absorbed a lot of energy, but they made a compromise whereas #19 would get Vejiita, while #20 would get the rest of the Z-Fighters. So they get ready for battle. Vejiita then tells them that he has been watching for some time and knows all of their tricks. #19 is confident enough to say that he knows everything of Vejiita, but Vejiita points out that he, like Kakarot, had also changed since the battle of Namek. In front of everyone's eyes, Vejiita transforms into Super Saiya-jin. Everyone is amazed and frightened by this shocking development. Krillin is wondering how this could happen since you have to have a quiet and pure heart. Vejiita proclaims that his heart is quiet and calm. It is also pure, but it is pure evil. Vejiita then explains how he became SSJ. He flashed back to when he was in the Gravity room training immensely and building up all of his moves at 450G. He the proceeded to fly the Capsule Corp. ship to another planet where he practiced his techniques among meteors. He would dodge them and shoot blasts at them and continue building up his power. He was unsuccessful some of the time, but finally became SSJ when he realized that it was the only way he could defeat Kakarot. He got extremely mad at himself and burst into the golden aura of Super Saiya-jin! It was an incredible site to behold. Vejiita rejoiced that he had finally become more powerful that Kakarot again. #20 and #19 both said that he wasn't enough to stop them and 19 shot an eye beam at Vejiita. Vejiita just stood there and smiled. #19 laughed and started his attack. At last Vejiita has become a Super Saiya-jin. Has Vejiita surpassed Gokuu? Does the Earth have another threat from Vejiita?
